GEC Ratings: Zee overtakes Colors to get third spot

Zee gets a 43 GRP gain to reach 222 at the end of Week 8

According to TAM, Zee TV gained 43 GRPs to reach 222 GRPs at the end of Week 8. The rise in GRPs saw them reach third place, demoting Colors to fourth in the Hindi GEC ratings. Colors gained seven GRPs to reach 200 at the end of the week.

Star Plus continued to lead the pack even though it experienced a drop of 21 GRPs to reach 279. Sony TV retained its second position following a 17 GRP rise to end the week at 227 GRPs.

Sab TV's seven point drop of GRPs meant it reached 134 GRPs, but it maintained its fifth spot ahead of Life OK, which ended the week at 81 GRPs.

Imagine TV with 63 GRPs, came in at seventh place ahead of Sahara One (53 GRPs), Star Utsav (41 GRPs), DD1 (39 GRPs) and Zee Smile.

Just saw that mostly every show dipped on Star Plus. Not that it excuses the dragging in this show but it has the chance to overtake the others because is the gap is much smaller now (barring DABH).

Star Plus maintains its first position with 259 GRP. This week Sony TV with 212 GRP and Colors with 211 GRP, had a tough race of a point but Sony TV took away the cake exceeding with 1 point.

GEC ratings: Star Plus continues to lead

Sony was the big gainer with a rise in 19 GRPs in week 10 '12

According to TAM, Star Plus continued to lead the GECs in Week 10 '12. Star Plus gained by four points to end the week at 263.

Sony closed the gap to Star Plus with a gain of 19 GRPs to reach 231. Third placed Colors moved up by four GRPs to reach 215, followed by Zee TV, who gained six points to end at 212 GRPs.

Fifth placed Sab TV ended the week at 136 GRPs, a five point gain from last week. Like OK dropped two points to end the week at 85. Imagine dropped three points to end at 62. Sahara One's ratings remained unchanged as the channel maintained its 45 GRPs. Star Utsav ended with 42 GRPs, ahead of DD1 who ended at 31.
