Star Plus retains top position with 309 GRPs

According to TAM's data released for Week 5, Star Plus continued to lead the GEC pack with 309 GRPs, up from 306 in the previous week.

Both Colors and Sony registered a dip in numbers. Sony registered 217 GRPs, a drop of 20 points compared to last week, while Colors registered 204 GRPs as compared to 230 GRPs in Week 4. Meanwhile Zee went up marginally from 172 GRPs in Week 4 to 179 in week 4.

As for the other channels, Sab was at 133 (132 in Week 4), Imagine TV at 55 (61 in Week 4), Life OK at 83 (85 in Week 4) and Sahara One at 48 (45 in Week 4).

Top 5 are Star Plus Shows !!!

On TB chart it was below uttaran,pavitra rishta and this chart its in top 5 :S

Indiantelevision.com are the oldest in the business and I've trusted them over any other site over TRPs. I think they are stating the peak ratings which show that Tuesdays episode rated the highest (JM parted) of the entire week. Maybe the ratings after that were lower.

Anyway, Top 5 after ages! Nice nice :)

GEC ratings: Zee takes a leap in week 6

Star Plus continues to lead; Sony at second spot, Colors at third, with a difference of one GRP

Sony slipped to 209 GRPs (217 previous week), with two of its shows (C.I.D and Crime Patrol) in the top 10 programmes list for week 6.

Colors finished third gaining four rating points from last week at 208 GRPs (204 previous week). The GEC's popular show Balika Vadhu continues to find a place in the top 10 programmes this week as well.

The highlight of week 6 was Zee that registered a growth of 23 GRPs and is now at 202 GRPs (179 previous week). The increase in GRP could be attributed to Zee Cine Awards 2012, which was the fourth most watched programme on HGEC.

At fifth rank, Sab registered 142 GRPs (133 previous week).

Life OK finished sixth at 87 GRPs (83 previous week), Imagine was at 57 GRPs (55 previous week), and Sahara registered 46 GRPs (48 previous week).

The top ten Hindi GEC programmes of Week 6 were:

EHM was the only show on the channel which showed an increase, the others dipped quite badly!
