I partly agree with your post on Dev's inaction.

But my point was some very glaring mistakes he made. One cannot be careless. He knew he had to act in stealth hence he lied about name. So why write real number? And your car is being chased but you do not know?

Acting wise, I agree on young vs old actors but Teena is doing a good job despite a limited role. And still doing fine despite being not interested. So Bhuvnesh should have stepped up too.
I still expect a lot in coming days when Arnab's death is revealed. Such scenes are meat for any actor to sink his teeth into. I do not see that passion in Bhuvnesh's acting.

Payal was raped due to Nitya's knee jerk reaction to Shaurya and her trusting him in first place.

Why do you blame her? I ask where were her parents when they left her alone in court? What strength they gave her?

What kind of sister Nitya was to leave her alone in court? Why was she left alone so Goenkas could come and meet her?

What kind of family were they who were happily enjoying puja at home and never wondered where Payal was and why she had not returned home the night she was raped?

Aftermath? She was scarred by character assassination in court. What Nitya managed? All witnesses had turned hostile. Even their own lawyer was not with them. So why should she trust her?

She was threatened with death of her parents. She cowed in. As she did not want them to die.

Rape victims do get pressurised like that. This is what happened to her.

It is fault of Nitya and her parents to leave her alone in that vulnerable state.

Fault of Nitya to give tape to lawyer a night before.

I cannot believe a victim is being blamed to defend heroine and probably Dev.

The parents are biggest wrong doers for never supporting girls or warning them and leaving them alone even later by committing suicide. Their shame and ego was greater than daughter's trauma?

Nitya did nothing to be still trusted. Even now whatever that has been done is due to Dayal. Nitya was still busy with her own plans while Payal rotted alone and even got attacked again.

Well you took the wrong meaning of my words here! I never said her parents were not at fault. Committing suicide was nothing but an act of cowardice. They should have realised they were throwing their kids to the wolves. But if u noticed that scene Nithya was discussing some things with the lawyer. She hadn really left her sister alone. And rape is a heinous crime and being a woman I am dead set against it. I am only saying Payal was wrong in not talking to Nithya or her parents once before giving that statement.

So now was Nithya at fault for just slapping Shaurya? How could she ever have anticipated the horrible aftermath of that incident? Shaurya had been a flirt but was she wrong in giving him the benefit of doubt when he faked his goodness? She may have thought she was mistaken abt him and Shaurya didn woo her by giving her flowers or taking her to fancy dinners. He pretended to be good by helping needy. She gets to know that a guy she believed was genuinely good was only trying to get her in bed. She slapped him and that is something any of us would have done. Her faith was broken too. Agreed Shaurya was not her love but yet she had begun trusting him as a human being. Payal was a helpless victim. She was never the target here. In a fit of rage Shaurya raped her mercilessly. And as for kids coming home late, it was festival time. We hang out at friends homes. Go out n we are bound to come home late. So should parents jump to the conclusion that their child was raped? Not like they were not worried. But which parent will think their child is being raped? And by whom? Does any rape victim's parents know their child is being raped while they are worried about her not coming home? There could be several reasons why your child came home late especially when it is common to hang out at a friend's place.

How was Nithya to know that Payal was being raped while she was berating on herself for trusting a fiend like Shaurya? We didn say others be it Durga or Dev or Suchitra are imperfect flawless souls n neither am I trying to put the blame on Payal. I am only saying she shd have consulted them once.

Ah yes he was tactless in many scenarios 🤣 Teena is doing a fab job n her role had tat intensity but I never found Dev to be intense. He was a just a simple character n he is an average actor n not that great I admit! He takes in too many pauses for instance but maybe I was too biased towards Sakshi n Durga to notice it that much. They are the only reason y I watch that show.

One should not mess with a drunken group of boys. Nitya should have left or just spoken instead of slapping him. Even men steer clear of drunk young boys. It is a matter of common sense.

Slapping especially after overhearing the pervert plans of Shaurya was a mistake.

A bunch of drunk guys talking about sleeping with women should alert anyone. Stay away than mess with them.

Nitya provoked Shaurya and Payal was punished for that slap.

Regarding court, where was anybody to consult? They left her alone. It is their fault.

Nitya if she was not that away, should have rushed to see Payal and noticed Goenkas around her. The fact that she and parents ignored them makes them guilty of leaving a bruised Payal susceptible to threat.
Fear of family being dead is even greater in such a victim who is already feeling wretched after character assassination in court. On top of it left alone so she gave in.

I think parents should atleast be careful if young girl has not returned till late in evening. I have seen people even more careful on festivals, as all sorts of people let loose and there is chaos. This is weird they were at home and never bothered that it was getting late and girl was not home.

@Anu I didn't blame Payal. Like Fieryheart I also had the opinion she should have told what Sakshi told her to Nithya before taking that decision to change the statement. When she was being led to the witness stand she was not alone. She was with Nithya. Because when she spoke in the witness stand we could see Nithya standing up. So the aftermath of that change came on everyone which led to their destruction. See the impunity with which Goenka's telling Payal herself told rape didn't happen. If they had won any other way without the change of statement no way they could have been this blatant about it. That change of statement was the worst thing that happened in the rape case.
See Nithya is not having an easy life. She is carrying the guilt of that slap throughout with her. Did she have a life post that rape. Nithya has suffered emotionally very much for that misjudgment. In another way both girls have suffered. Yes it was her misjudgement of Shaurya, it was her mistake of slapping him and she too has paid the price. Her parents, her sister, even her face lost. She has not given up fighting also irrespective of multiple distractions thrown at her. She is struggling, failing yet she is fighting.
I only said everyone has to bear the consequences of their actions. Just like every other character Payal also had to bear the consequence of changing that statement without discussing with everyone, that's my whole point. It is not blaming her. I have always put the complete guilt only on Nithya and her actions not on Payal. But if Payal had held on trusting Nithya a little more maybe their family wouldn't have been defamed to this extent whether Shaurya got punished or not, whether they were alive or not. It is also not about winning or losing it is also about supporting that one person who is alone fighting that desperate battle to get you justice.
Nithya was failing, but she was going on trying. Trying to find one clue after another. She is also a 20 something girl. Taking on mightly Goenka's with literally no support. Alone, baffled and confused at times. She was taking the emotional pain of the whole family with not a single person to share her feelings, her insecurities, her fears, her anxieties or to simply cry. It is not easy to do that. Payal had Nithya's shoulder to cry, while Nithya had none.

I am repeating what I wrote in another thread.
First of all I am very sensitive to the issue of rape. So please excuse me if I overreacted.

Secondly I hold your posts in regard so such words coming from you were kind of shocking to me. I am sorry.

Now coming to Payal. She was alone in corridor in break and that was the time she was alone which she should not have been. Atleast her parents ought to have been with her if not Nitya.

After the lies of her friends, her character assassination in court, she must have been crushed. That is a mentally weak moment for any rape victim. She must have felt wretched. This is why she took the threat to her parents to her heart and said yes to Sakshi's offer.
She was not in a position to think rationally. And no one was with her.

So she went ahead just to end it all as she could see how everything was falling apart.

Women should not do it. But many rape victims are forced into changing statement, driven to suicide or forcibly married off to rapist or proven as prostitutes. It is a reality.

Payal paid with her life for Nitya's mistakes, her parents did not support her. Paid for her misstep.

Sorry but Payal had the worst life. Nitya might have lost face but she never suffered the way Payal did. Payal has no life. For years she was a vegetable. She lost her brain. Nitya had accident once. Payal was given shocks daily. Nitya had option of moving on. Payal had no option. Nitya was comfortably living safe in US for 2 years and never came to India for Payal till now. While Payal was rotting in dingy mental asylum.

Their suffering is not comparable. Payal was used by Nitya to recreate trauma by exposing her to Shaurya. Then Sakshi used her and recreated her trauma, pushed her back to comatose state.

Payal is the worst treated character in the show.

Today she is barely recovering. Whereas Nitya is married and her lover supports her. Payal lost out on youth, higher education and who knows if anyone will bother about her or not. She paid way more than she deserved.

Agree with ur analysis.
Dev already have doubt if Durga is Nitya.
Even a kid can guess it wtih all the proofs.
Finally, he recollected all of them, connected the dots and finally concluded and confirmed that Durga is Nitya when he finally came to know the car was Dayal's.

With all the information he knew which was said by Mathur, his observations and all showed him the connection of what happened after goons went after Nitya and after Dayal hit her.
He isnt that fool he is shown to be.
CVs are really creative.
They made us think he doubted Dayal but he indeed got perfect clarification with that single last piece of information.

Bhuvnesh really gave rocking performances for few last episodes esp. confrontation with Raj and scenes with Durga
