Scene 2.

Place: Goenka ke ghar ka mandir.

Characters: Sakshi, Suchitra, Durga and Dayal

Suchitra : ( Holding Durga's hand tightly while Sakshi watch her nemesis carefully. Dayal standing helplessly on the other side) Tum ye karogi na mere liye beta ?

Sakshi : Aap ke liye na sahi par Dev ke liye jarur karegi Durga.

Dayal: ( Nervously) Suchitra ji, hum iska koi hal nikal lenge. Mere contacts USA ke doctors tak hai. Aap ko nahi pata main kya kya kar sakta hun.

Suchitra : Dayal saab, ye mere aur mere bahu ke beech ki baat hai. Mujhe medical science pe aur bharosa nahi raha. Hamre ghar par ek ke baad ke hadse ho rahe hai. Ye sirf is puja se thik ho sakta hai Dayal jo Tilli pahadi ke jhunduram baba kar sakte hai.

Dayal : Nahi, ye aapki bahu aur aapke bete ke beech ki baat hai Suchitra ji. Dev ko riha ho jane dijiye tab sochenge.

Durga: ( In tears) Nahi baba, Dev bohot accha insaan hai. Ye sab meri galti hai. Agar...

Dayal ( Nervously) Durga...( as if to stop her)

Durga: Sab meri galti hai.. kash main usse 1 din me rriha karwa sakti... 6 din kuch jyada hi hote hai jail ke karnamo ke liye...

Sakshi : ( In her mind she knows how melodramatic the whole scene is and smirks) Durga mere pass baba ka phone number hai.

Suchitra : Tumhare pass Sakshi ? Tumhare passs... Shaurya .. ya Raj to...

Dayal( Suspicious of Sakshi): Yes, Mrs. Goenka... I will call that Jhunduram baba today..Main 6 din me Dev ko thik karke rahunga... Challenge hai...Fingers crossed...
