Sakshi's and Durga's journey

Whatever she married Rajnath for power, status and money but I guess that marriage also killed the emotions in her.

Maybe with emotions she could never have been a wife to Rajnath and bear 2 kids with him. So she started locking the emotions inside. Slowly and steadily this woman became completely mechanical trying to protect her kingdom. Her only motive was protect herself and her kids especially Shaurya. If anything appeared in form of threat to her existence she didn't hesitate to use any method available to her.

Her journey from Sakshi to Sakshi Rehmat Khan to Sakshi Goenka is full of secrets, secrets which she thinks only she knows but as we know there are loose ends in the story. Akram has survived, the man she pushed is alive though not talking, there might be skeltons available which can open a can of worms for her after all these years.

Now coming to Durga. Her journey from a driver's daughter Nithya Mitra to the adopted daughter of Dr Dayal Thakur Durga Thakur and then Durga Dev Goenka is also filled with secrets. Unlike Sakshi Nithya had grown up in a protective environment and was a live wire till the incident happened with her sister. But that rape changed everything for her. As Durga Thakur she also learned to mask her emotions inside. Though not as good as Sakshi she also was travelling the same path of losing conscience when she beated up Shaurya with goondas. Her path would have continued Sakshi's way if she had married Shaurya.

We could actually see the change in Durga. Durga who cringed at the touch of Shaurya had no qualms when he held her hands post his paralysis. She had killed her soul to be like that. And she would have continued the same to complete her mission by hook or crook and wouldn't have stopped to check the path she has come.

Durga is indeed mirror image of Sakshi. It is only the Nithya in her that differentiates her from Sakshi. Without Nithya , Durga is also mission oriented, win at any cost , emotionless and ruthless.
