A forum who has shipped Shaurya and Durga even a month before and saw potential in Shaurya as he is the "lead" is now taking dig at TRP viewers. Bravo !!!
Wonder what the fuss about the saas-bahu is ?? The show is loosely based on Revenge. Durga was always to be part of Goenkas and this has always been battle of Durga and Sakshi. Even in the early character sketch of Durga it was clearly mentioned that it will be Durga's war too with herself as she will battle between her love and enemy. Her love is Dev and now she have unintentionally involved him in the battle. This will only push him further to the danger that Sakshi is and make her every step tougher than expected. No fun without it!
As for TRP viewers .. A show like EHT was alien for SP viewers, be it characters, narration or look .. It still managed to rake in 2 trp for most of the times.
Edit: I watch DESI shows with desi show on my mind. If I want to see a show without the concept of marriage for a couple & its relations or any sort of religious angle, social complications and the most integral part of desi shows - melodrama ... I would not switch on to desi box .. woh bhi daily soap. That would not be show of the sub-continent I live in. #JustSaying

Just came to post these 2 things because I do not see anything out of order than what was planned. I do not see Durga being able to completely defeat the evil that is Shakshi Goenka & the Goenka's themselves without her being a Goenka herself. Age old saying ... Keechad ko saaf karna hai toh khud keechad mein uttar na padhta hai.
No none have ever uttered that the show is based on Revenge, if they did that they would have had to get the copyright but its going in similar fashion hence the statement. The word loosely be the operative word.

In Durga's character portrayal and also show premises they have stated romance .. Definitely they were not talking about Durga and Shaury or about her relationship with Goenka's. Stating it clearly at that time would have not been favourable for how they intended and have unfolded the story so far.
Durga & Dev or rather at that time name was to be Rudra. have always been an integral part of the show. Its a one year show that means a 300 episode show as off SP 6-Day format. I do not expect any maker to give me account of the whole thing. All I know is they have not deviated from their main plot. Tweaked perhaps ... A daily show .. they may need to tweak even if an actor falls ill, if not for any other major issues.
