From the very introduction of Dev's character , the show never managed to develop a strong bonded friendship between Dev and Nitya. All the repeated flashbacks was not enough to attract the viewers. If friendship is not convincible how can a viewer accept a sudden feeling of love between the two. Here the cvs caught entangled between their real intension with the show i.e this show is not a love story but revenge saaga. Thus they completely failed to develop Dev's character for they have to focus with Two women characters. One wants to protect her son in any way possible and the other who wants justice for her sister. Since Sakshi is the only one character who is independent, for her only concern is kids and whereas Durga has all her past and relationships taunting each and everyday, losts her focus. She just became a confused soul.

I cannot understand how come they show Durga has feelings for Dev after her realization that Dev was not at fault. Dev-Nitya flashbacks never showed that Nitya considered Dev more than her best friend. Out of sympathy that she misunderstood her best friend paved her way to realization of love? There is Zero development in Dev-Nitya-Durga story. Instead of showing Dev as a stupid Nityaholic they should have given certain developments to their character. Durga's concern for dev and stupidity, the resultant outcome from the same irritates the viewers.

And lastly, assumed marriage track that Sakshi might make Dev marry Durga. If that happens, how? Will Sakshi once again make Payal the victim? Now Sakshi might come to know that Dev took Payal as his responsibility and gets hold of Payal thus forcing Dev to marry Durga to get Payal back? Otherwise how can Sakshi convince Nityaholic man to marry Durga who claims to be in love with Shaurya? So i don't think Sakshi's masterstrock is Devga marriage. With zero developments in their characters they can't go ahead with marriage drama. If they do then the show will be saas bahu saga for no doubt and Durga will be in great trouble by putting up an act before Dev and Shaurya in contrast to her real emotions. Thus identity in danger.

Yes, I also am eager to know what would be the master stroke of Sakshi. She had planned all the time after Shaurya got attacked.

I dont think she had planned for Dev and Durga's marriage from the start.

She only would have wanted Shaurya to back off from the wedding and what would happen next is still a question.

Dev knows that his family is responsible for Payal's condition and for Nitya going missing. But he is not taking any step to get justice to Payal. I know its not easy to bring the Goenkas to court just like that esp when he has his own mother who shuts him up whenever this discussion comes. But we have not shown any plans of Dev except trying to find out Nitya and know Durga's secret.

So how would he say yes to his marriage with Durga if such situation really arises.

Durga, is over confident that Sakshi will now allow the marriage to take place and she is sure to win once she becomes Goenka's bahu.

She thinks right now by exposing Rajnath's affair with Raima, Sakshi's attention would get diverted. But to Sakshi, her son is more important than anyone else. And Durga also has this possibility in mind that Sakshi might send Shaurya away for his treatment.

So what exactly Durga has in her mind to get her revenge or justice for Payal is still not made clear.

She thinks, things will go her way once she becomes Goenka's bahu.

But it is not clearly shown.

It would only be more difficult for Durga if she gets married to Dev. She cannot so openly take her revenge on Shaurya and his family when Dev or Suchitra would also get affected with the things happening in their family.

Waiting eagerly for that episode where a huge drama is supposed to take place.

I don't know but even now I am thoroughly disappointed with how things are going in the show

I kept telling myself time and AGN to be patent and wait and also to give Durga a chance to expose Shaurya and to let DEV be cos eventually he will come arnd but well looks like nothing is happening

I find Dev very poorly sketched and even more poorly enacted by the actor.

Dev and Nitya often seem like bickering siblings. I do not see any love here. From either side. It is funny how suddenly they made it a love story. The passion Dev shows now was just not there in flashbacks.

Dev and Suchitra relationship is also poorly developed. No insight or flashback to show why they are the way they are.

I wonder why Dev was never close to Goenkas but spent all time at driver's house.

Why is Dev easily bullied by Goenkas? Why easily agree to go to US? Why not live assertively at own house? Why no interest in family matters or business?

Flashbacks have no story. Just same old banter.

Why was Dev scared for Gautam yet not careful with Payal? Why no suspicion on Goenkas?

Why not chase Karan after seeing him with corrupt lawyer?

Durga never felt love earlier. Now she loves Dev? Is it realisation or guilt?

Confusion and blow hot, blow cold all around.

Dev-Nitya flashbacks with Payal gets me relieved some way from the frustration..Some point I ask myself Y Iam giving more and more chances to this show. I really hate Sanjeeda's repeated expressions and Bhuvanesh's acting..Dialogues,acting,script nothing draws my attention yet I am giving time to this show just hoping that they will deliver something good in the coming weeks..bt sadly nothing happening. Now I wonder even this Cvs have no problem in showing Durga marrying Shaurya and giving him a redemption track no matter what Shaurya is..Dev actually doesn't share a strong relationship with Suchitra. Because she is Dev's main obstacle in life.That's Y he always felt himself a misfit in Goenka house. And may be Dev fell in love with Nitya after he went to US. They shouldnot have send Gautam back to US . Durga never convinced me that she loves Dev. She is hell bend on defeating Sakshi not punishing shaurya and his friends.Now I think only Sakshi is the character who is stable. Atleast she has her focus and truely cares for her son.

Dev was suppose to be the icing on the cake but lately all we get to eat is the icing alone. Where is the cake CVs ?

I never found Dev a convincing character. Nothing to do with his acting abilties but the whole character sketch is flawed. Those flashbacks are horrible. I have already explained it ample of times. I cannot accept a great bonding between two people who belong to extremely different backgrounds.

I think Dev could be a plain simple character. One cousin of Shaurya from US who has come to visit India and then he come across this case and studies further. Eventually he could have fallen in love with Durga and later realise she is Nitya. This way both help each other and we work without flashbacks.

Why should Durga love Dev ? Because he is a good guy or because this is the way to wash her sins ?

I think we expect too much from this show.

Lately after seeing Karan I was having so many ideas, that his minister father will also come up, Kangana and him will be discovered, Dev will be after him now that he saw him with the lawyer, Rajnath and Shaurya will be after him and Sakshi after knowing about their deals, Karan will spill beans on Sakshi after she hauls him up for affair with Kangana etc.

But nothing happens.🥱

I thought Dev would investigate, snoop around Goenka mansion and office, meet convicted people, join dots etc. But he did nothing.

The way Kaka affair was brought into limelight all of a sudden, I thought Sakshi is going to get another jolt this time.

But yes, that will not happen.

Durga has to hit Sakshi back to back. Give this woman some time and she recovers from almost anything.

Even Goddess Durga had to kill Mahisasur with tactic because he could neither be killed him as a buffalo nor as a human. She killed her during the transition period.

This show did not need this Dev character at all.

Dev has slowed and destroyed the revenge factor of this show with his rant of ...

"Nitya kaha hai". "Meri Nitya zinda hai"

His obsession to find Nitya is more important to him than getting justice for Payal especially after seeing her condition after the Rape.

Dev's rant should have been... "I will find who did this to you Payal even if it kills me."

Dev and Nitya even in flashback does not have any chemistry. He just looks like he had no other life except hanging around their house for attention that he never got from his Goenka family.
