Hey, dont you think Sakshi Goenka is quite similiar to the character of Lady Macbeth from Shakespeare's Macbeth. I feel so. While Lady Macbeth has ambition lead her to cruelty, Sakshi is also quite power hungry and driven to cruelty for power and for the love for her son.
Both female characters also were much more cruel than their respective husbands.
Anyways,it was just something I noticed. I hope Sakshi also feels haunted by guilt later on like the Lady Macbeth, although i doubt that will happen😕.

Agree with you..Sakshi is also ambitious woman, thoroughly tough and utterly scrupulous like lady Macbeth. She only loves being Mrs Goenka as this gives her power..

Thanks , even though both are villains, their personalities never fail to amaze me.
Like lady Macbeth, Sakshi Goenka will probably be a memorable vamp/villain in the history of Hindi TV serials.

I really like Sakshi. She is not evil , she is a character with lots of shades. The piano scene of Shaurya and Sakshi was my favorite part in last episode.

Lady Macbeth instigated Macbeth to murder Duncan. SHe herself wasn't involved physically. Here Sakshi is much more involved than Rajnath himself. Much more cruel than Lady Macbeth.
I find her more close to Cleopatra. Cleopatra is a perfect example of power monism. To her everything was legal to get what you want and so it is for Sakshi.

Hmm I personally think Durga will be shown to be more of a Lady Macbeth figure. I can see her instigating Shuraya to turn on his parents so he can take control of their wealth and source of power. We can see he hates it when they overrule him plus he has no real affection for them if Durga strokes his ego making him believe he will benefit from backstabbing them he probably will. I've always thought Sakshi was more like Cersei from Game of Thrones a woman obbessed with power and her one weekness was her worthless brat of a son Joffrey.
