The problem I agree, is with the narrative. Much of past is unexplained or giving very shoddy explanations. Plus sudden happenings. No build up.
Dayal has been talking of Dev before Durga got idea of getting engaged to Shaurya. I don't think he asked her to settle with Dev to prevent alliance with Shaurya.

Cases are solved through legal methods and public pressure too. The way Jessica Lall and Priyadarshini Mattoo cases were reopened and victims got justice in 2006 all due to public pressure.

@ Natkhat_ Angel. Congratulation to you for your forthcoming baby.

I am also a mother of two and I agree that my children's well being comes first and foremost.

But that being said I would NOT condone or cover up a heinous crime like Shaurya's
to protect him like Shakshi did.

I would make sure he paid for his crime and got just punishment. That is my first duty as a responsible mother that will not be blinded by love to later make him into the Monster that Shaurya has become.

I do not agree with Durga decision to jump into the Mud to get justice. There are more sensible and legal ways to get the Goenka's.

All your methods are fine and good for their punishments. But Dayal this late in the game trying to now back out of finishing the job that he started just does not make sense.
Dayal actually changed Nitya's original look to his own daughters face... For What??

To back out at the last moment because all of a sudden he is tired of trying to get justice. Something smells fishy to me.

And Durga is not Psychotic as much as she is focused after two years of her life planning the strategy to come back and make sure the people that ruined her life and her families pays for it.

Where the CV's are going with this abrupt turn in the story is beyond me. But I will wait and see if they have a just and fair solution to the original story they started with.

Dolly put it all perfectly.👏
I hate Durga's idea of entering Goenka family. Pathetic in every way.🤢

Payal did give in eventually because Sakshi threatened to get her father killed.😡

Is it move on means forget to take revenge ? 😕 I mean she can be happy and take her revenge, can't she ? What about telling Dev the truth and both teaming up to destroy the Goenkas ?

And who didn't give up in life ? It's not surprising to see him wishing something better for his daughter. But of course durga won't spare the Goenkas. They deserve the punishment.

You really think Dev will help her against Goenkas if she marries him and becomes Goenka bahu now? I don't think so as of now, even if she tells him truth. Too much into ghar ki izzat to go against family.

And move on does mean leave revenge given how Dayal keeps talking about leaving the secret room, stop talking about planning.

Dayal's wishing better for daughter now is funny. Why didn't he wish better in first place? If she's come this far on this path then it's due to his inputs, funding, protection and power! Why did he get her started on this path?

Who said that Dev and Durga have to get married ? Confessing love doesn't mean immediat marriage. If Dev is not going to support Durga then what is the so called positive supporting Dev doing in the show ? Didn't everyone expect to see Devga teaming up and fight together ?

That time there wasn't any lover for Durga. Now that he know someone loves his daughter and she loves him back then who won't want to see his daughter happy ? And I don't think he will pressurize her to move on and forget her past. He will just give a choice between fighting for justice or moving on and be happy. It's what parents do. It's what I will do with my daughter at least no matter what was the initial planning.

Couldn't he have cured and married off both sisters to good men? What kind of logic is this that you need to wait for a lover and if there is no lover then make other plans?😆

Suppose Dev had not come or hadn't confessed love. Then what would Dayal have done? Not thought of any fatherly concerns for daughter's marriage?

Dev is positive but hasn't had develeopment to show he can fight against family and allow his wife to ruin Rajnath and his kin! Too spineless to not give in to bete-bahu ka farz rubbish.

Dayal obviously wants her to marry Dev and not just confess love and go about lives.

Dev still doesn't doubt Shaurya despite being threatened by him. What to expect from such a tubelight to help Durga?

You change plans according to your life. It's not like he never thought about getting his daughter married. Today or tomorrow she has to get married. When they made all the plans that time Durga had nothing good in her life except sadness. Parents dead and sister mentally unwell. Now she has someone positive in her life and of course as a father he will think differently. Now it's Durga to decide what she wants. Of course she won't change her mind and will carry on with what they planned, she planned. We all want her to continue but we can't blame Dayal of thinking as a dad not as someone who planned the revenge along with Durga long back.
