I've noticed that people are sort of disgruntled with Dayal's advice to Durga about moving forward with Dev. And then the dream sequence.
However, I liked the scenes - Dayal's advice reinforced the idea of him being like a real father to her..which father would want his daughter to remain in the past? Dayal brings a stability to her life. He doesn't want her to live in the past and be guided by her revenge (which as much as it pains for me to say, isn't emotionally healthy in actual life!)
And the Dev romance sequence, sort of unwarranted, was a good indication towards a good future..although the Goenkas almost ruined her life, she has the power to dream. Something very very positive.
On a side note, I loved Payal's part in scene. It points to the bubbly and happy girl she was before Shaurya and his gang of a**holes stole it away. Pains my heart to think of women who go through that in real life!
