CHAPTER:1
As the sky roared with thunder and lightening Durga drove the car in full speed not caring about the heavy rain.Her face carried so much fear as tears rolled down her cheeks .Never in her life durga felt this much guilty and hated herself.But today after her conversation with Akash ,Durga felt like killing herself for her lack of trust on her best friend who stood for her and with her in every moment .
BEFORE ONE HOUR:
Durga was sitting in her secret room and was thiniking how to make shaurya more anger on Dev got a call from her trusted friend and informer Akash.
''Yes Akash''said Durga with a smile.
''Durga please check ur email now .I have send a video about Dev .please see it ASAP''said Akash in a worried voice.Durga got tensed hearing his worried voice.
''Ok Akash i will call u after watching the video''said Durga disconnecting the call and opened her email then the video which was send by Akash.
VIDEO:
As the video started Durga could see sonali ,Gautham and Dev sitting in Guatham's house with cool drinks in their hand and having an heated argument .
''Dev please think about it.How could everyone tell false statement about payal,maybe she could have changed after u went to U.S.A''said sonali closing the payal rape case file.This made Dev boil in anger and he stood up from the sofa and broke the glass i his hand by throwing it towards the wall.
''Shut up sonali .Not one more word about payal.What u know about payal?Do u know how payal and her family are close to me?They may be poor sonali but they were the happiest family with what they had.Even they never accepted financial help from me .Payal and Nithiya are the honest girls i have seen till now .When all the girl wanted to become friend with me for my money ,they both were the only girls who just beame my friend for my character.I can never believe payal did this for money.''shouted Dev in anger and Guatham came near him and held his shoulders.
''Dev please calm down.Sonali said in a lawyer point of view.Please Dev come and sit''said Guatham in a soft voice and made Dev sit back on the sofa and Dev closed his eyes to calm down.
''Dev i am really sorry ''said sonali in a soft voice.Dev opened his eyes and gave a sad smile to sonali.
''No sonali i am sorry .I should not reacted like this.U know sonali how much i loved Nithiya and still loving her .She is the best friend ,sister and daugher anyone will wish to have .She is the one who wanted me to go to U.S.A when i decided to stay back .She was always there for me when i wanted her .But i can't be there for her when she wanted me the most .When i wanted to come back here there was a visa problem and mom asked me to promise her not to return back to india till i finish my studies as it was my dad's dream.And when i wanted to contact Nithiya and her family ,they all went missing.U know sonali how much i was hurt and had sleepless nights when i couldn't conact Nithiya.Everyone is saying that Nithiya was no more .But i know she was still alive somewhere and hating me for what i did to her .I want to give justice to payal sonali at anycost .I will find my Nithiya too .I was a fool before by not expressing my love to her last time.But this time when i see her i will express my love to her and will accept any punishment she give me for not eing there for me''said Dev as his eyes became wet .
''But Dev are u really ready to fight aganist ur own family for payal?''asked sonali .
''I will sonali .I am ready to fight aganist this whole world for payal and my Nithiya.And i know about my family and my little brother too well.They can go to any extent to save their name and status .So i am sure they brought all them who gave their statement aganist payal with their money .But this time i will not allow the history to repeat itself .Last time payal and Nithiya was alone in their battle ,but this time i am with them.''said Dev with determination .sonali and guatham came near Dev and their hand on his shoulder .
''We are too with u Dev ''said both of them with a smile and Dev too smiled back.
''Thanks guys .But i think i must get going now .I have some work in the office i will meet u later''said Dev and stood up taking the file with him.
''Ok Dev bye and take care''said Guatham hugging Dev and Dev too hugged him back
''Sure yaar.Bye guys ''said Dev and left their house .

As the video ended Durga sat there with tear and guilt in her eyes for not trusing her friend like he trusted her and doubting him with a single email.Just then Durga's phone rang and she attend the call as it was Akash.
''Durga are u all right?''asked Akash knowing what she will be going through now.
''I made big mistake Akash .I don't deserve his friendship''said Durga in a broken voice.
''Durga please don't blame urself and think what to do next .Coz i am sure Dev is not safe now as shaurya was angry on him''said Akash .
''I know Akash .Please keep an eye on shaurya and let me know if he plan anything aganist Dev .I will call u back after sometime.I want to be alone for sometime Akash''said Durga .
''Sure Durga.Bye''said Akash and disconnected the call .Duga immediately took her car keys and left the room with her mobile.Once she started the car she started to drive in full speed without any definite destination trying to get some peace .

PRESENT:
Durga stopped the car by hitting the break and closed her eyes remembering her childhood moments with Dev.
''I am so sorry Dev .I never deserve ur friendship or love .I the worst friend a person could have ''said Durga as her body shook with her sobs .Just then her phone rang and she wiped her tears and looked at the caller ID to find Akash calling her .She immeditely attened the call .
''Yes Akash''said Durga controllin her sobs.
''Durga please go to Goenka office ASAP.Shauary planned to finish Dev who was alone in the office now and have send goons to kill him.I just now heard the conversation with the goons.Please Durga go to office ASAP i will too reach there soon.I must go to a meeting with sakshi but i will give her some excuse will come there soon''said Akash in a desparate voice.
''Akash i will go to the office soon.Please u don't come there as there will be camera's .I will manage there''said Dugra turned the car to go tot the office.
''But Durga how will u manage alone''asked Akash .
''I will manage Akash i can't risk ur life too.So please go to the meeting with sakshi''said Durga and disconnected the call and started to drive the car to the office.
''Durga ma please keep my Dev safe and sound i can't lose him again''prayed durga silently .

As Durga reached the office she found the watchman lying there unconcious and rushed inside the building to find her friend .Durga know that Dev will be in his cabin and entered the lift and pressed the button to his floor .Once the lift reached the floor Durga rushed to his cabin .Once Durga entered his cabin she stood there like someone took her life out of her body as she found Dev lying in a pool of his own blood.
''DEV''shouted Durga and rushed towards him and sat beside him taking his head and placing it on her lap.Dev was unconcious and his white shirt was turinig red from his blood.
''Dev please wake up .Dev please don't leave me please Dev''cried durga trying to wake him up .On getting no response from Dev Durga took her mobile and called the ambulance and gave the address of the office and asked them to reach there ASAP.As she disconnected she felt Dev moving his head in her lap and took his hand in her.
''Dev can u hear me .Please open ur eyes dev''said Durga as tears rolled down her cheeks .Finally after much struggle Dev opened his eyes and looked at Durga with moist eyes .
''I am sorry''said Dev in a week voice with much dificuilty confusing Durga why he was saying sorry to her.But before she could ask anything she heard the ambulance entering the office and she looked at Dev.
''Dev please keep ur eyes open i will come with the medical help ''said Durga and rushed out of hs cabin carefully placing his head on floor.After few minutes Durga with the help of nurses took Dev to the ambulance .Once they placed them in ambulance Durga sat beside dev who was unconcious by now and called Dayal.
''Hello beta''said dayal .
''Baba i am coming to hospital with Dev please keep the O.T ready .He was injured badly and lost too much of blood too Baba.''said Durga crying badly .
''Beta please calm down and don't worry i will keep everything ready.Don't worry we can save Dev .''said Dayal in a soft voice .
''Ok baba i will be there in 10 minutes ''said Durga disconnecting the call.

HOSPITAL:
Once they reached the hospital Dev was rushed to O.T and Durga hugged Dayal and started to sob loudly.Dayal who can't see his daughter like this caressed her back .
''Durga control urself beta .I promise u i will save Dev .Please stop crying beta''said Dayal in a soft voice and broke the hug wiping Durga's tears .
''Nothing will happen to my Dev na baba?''asked Durga with a broken.
''Nothing will happen to him .I must go to O.T now .I promise i will save him at anycost ''said Dayal and kissed her forehead and left for O.T.Durga sat on a chair there defeated .After few minutes she took her phone and called sakshi and informed everything as she didn't want anyone doubt her and sakshi said they all will come there ASAP.
After 30 minutes sakshi came there with Akash ,Rajnath and Dev's mom .
''Beta where is Dev ?Is he ok?''asked Dev's mom crying.
''Aunty please don't worry Dev is in O.T and Baba is treating him''said Durga helding her shoulders .
''But beta how all this happened?''asked Dev's mom.Durga first made her sit on a chair and sat beside her .
''Actually Aunty i receive a call from Dev as he wanted to discuss something about the cancer project and he said if i can meet him.As i was near the office returing to my home visiting a friend i agreed to talk with him and reached the office.But when i entered the office i saw the watchman unconcious and though something is wrong and rushed towards Dev's cabin and found him injured badly .Then i called the ambulance and took him here''said Durga creating a fake story .
''Thank u so much beta for saving my son''said Dev's mom.
''Its ok anuty its my duty to save my friend''said Durga with a smile.
''But Durga did u see who did this''asked sakshi knowing whose job it was .
''NO Mrs.Goenka when i reached the office there was none except Dev''said Durga looking at sakshi.
''Thank u so much beta for saving Dev''said Rajnath
''Its ok Mr.Goenka as i said before its my duty to save my friend ''said Durga looking Rajnath .Just then Dayal came out of the O.T and all of them rushed towards him.
''Dr.Dayal how is my son.He is alright na?''asked Dev's mom.
''Don't worry mam Dev is perfectly alright .He is unconcious now .We will shift him to special ward and u can see him once we shift there ''said Dayal with a smile.
''Is there any serious injury Dr.Thakur''asked Rajnath.
''No Mr.Goenka .Though he was stabbed twice in his stomach we saved him as he was bought here on time .But he must be on complete bed rest for next one week .After one week we can make him walk with the help of others ''said Dayal looking others.
''Thank u so much Dr.Thank u so much for saving my son''said Dev's mom.
''Its my duty mam.No need of thanks.And haan only one can stay here with Dev.So please other please leave after seeing him.If u excuse me i will leave now as i have to change ''said Dayal and left to change.
''I will stay with Dev sakshi.u all please leave after seeing him''said Dev's mom in a week voice .Durga who noticed this thought of helping her.
''Aunty if u don't mind i will stay with Dev today .U are looking so tired and week please go and rest and come tomorrow morning ''said Durga
''No beta i am alright i will stay here''said Dev's mom.
''No bhabi Durga is right.u are looking so week u must rest and we should let Durga take care of Dev''said sakashi sensing her tirdness and weekness.Finally after few minutes Dev's mom agreed after lot of request from others .
''U guys wait here i will come back once visiting baba''said Durga and left to meet Dayal.

DAYAL'S CABIN:
Once Durga entered dayal's cabin she hugged him and cried her heart out and explanied everything to Dayal about the video and who attacked Dev.Dayal made her sit on the couch and cupped her face.
''Beta please stop blaming urself .Whatever happen was because of a misunderstanding and i am sure Dev will understand u.Now stop crying ''said Dayal wiping her tears.
''I can't loose him once again baba.''said Durga in a broken voice.
''U love him so much don't u?''asked Dayal with a smile on his face.Durga immediately looked him with a shocked expression .
''Baba what are u talking about?''asked Durga
''Beta u may not this .But i am sure u love dev more than a friend .Whenever u used to talk about Dev and his betrayal i can see the broken love in ur eyes beta .I think its high time to realise this .Just ask u heart and decide whether u love him just as a friend or more than that ''said Dayal with a smile .Before Durga could answer there was a knock on the cabin door and a nurse entered the room and informed Dev gained concious and left the cabin.
''So beta think about what i said .Now come lets go and meet Dev''said dayal with a smile and left the cabin with Durga who was lost in thoughts .
As both of them entered Dev's room they say Dev talking to his Mom.
''So Dev how are u feeling?''asked Dayal with a smile.
''Not bad Doctor .''said Dev with a light smile.
''That's good ''said dayal and started to check him .After ten 10 min dayal finished his check up .
''Nothing to worry Dev u are fine.There will be pain in ur stomach for few days .If the pain is unbearable please have the pain killer.so now its time to rest i think everyone should leave.''said Dayal looking at other.
''Ok Doctor we will leave now and Durga insisted to stay with Dev tonight .I think it will not be a problem''said Dev's mom and Dev immediately looked at Durga who was standing behind everyone.
''No problem for me if my daughter want to stay here.Beta i will ask our driver to bring u a pair of cloth as u must change it ''said Dayal looking at her blood stained clothes.
''Sure baba''said Durga with a smile.
''Ok beta we will leave now .Please take of my son''said Dev's mom with a smile .
''Sure Aunty i will take care of him.Please u take some rest''said Durga with a smile.Then everyone left the room leaving Devga alone.After few seconds Durga went towards Dev's bed and looked at him .
''How are u now Dev?''asked Durga with a small smile.
''I am ok Durga or should i say I am ok NITHIYA''said Dev with a sad smile and Durga stood there in shock.
