Beautiful post. 😊
You've said everything I feel, rather most of us here, feel about this show.👏Rape is worst violation of one's privacy and human rights in my opinion. It is indeed more heinous than murder. The scars of abuse and violation never go away even if victim has healed and moved on in life.7 years punishment is too less. And here Shaurya and his friends got away with no punishment! 😡The serial is a powerful statement on sexual assault, sexual deviance, and power and money driving machinations of the rich and famous. The clash of classes, unholy nexus between state, judiciary, corporate world, academia and media have been wonderfully portrayed in EHT. I also hope this show remains faithful to its theme of justice and does not get reduced to a dragging romance or worst...a saas bahu saga!Till now all episodes have been class apart. None was a filler. I hope quality retains and only gets better. Thanks for this post and please write often.😊
Thank you so much 😊
I have my fingers crossed for Shaurya and his friends to meet the worst possible fate for their heinous crimes at the hands of Durga.
True. The victim is scarred for life. They never really move on from it. How can they? Such traumatic experiences haunt you for the rest of your lives. And if someone can't move past that, they should be supported and comforted, not frowned upon for not "trying" , like our society is famous for doing.
You've very accurately presented all the major topics being covered through this show. And I agree. I would hate to see this show reduced to a romantic, saas-bahu saga. It will just kill the show. Plain and simple. It'll be better if they rather end the show once the Goenka's are punished for their deeds rather than dragging it and changing the basic concept of what the show originally started out to be.
I will definitely try to write as often as I can.
