They have shown us in flashback When Nitya needed Dev's help he decided to stand by his family and support them even after knowing the matter as per that email which Nitya recieved in reply from Dev

Now we have seen different Dev who wants to find the entire truth and who is ready to go against family to give justice to Nitya's family...

So do u really think that email was sent by Dev? Or Shaurya might have sent it?

Obviously not.

It may be some one else.

Also that is one point of the story which wasn't handled very well.

I know its just a serial but till now EHT has managed to move with very less loop holes, but this was a major one.

Why of Why would you believe a mail sent like that . Wouldn't you try to talk and sort out if he really sent the mail.

And Dev? He knew Nitya's number Realistically, wouldnt he have tried calling her? Her home number?

Better give a good reason CVs

Of course not its obvious he's unaware of everything he would have had come back but goenkas cheated in him and made him stay behind

no its not dev

it has to be his family / his uncle ext who would send the mail instead of him knowing that he might help nitya

Must be Mathur and Sakshi who may have hacked Dev's account and sent the mail. Dev's father must have been unwell and that might be the reason why he didn't contact Nitya.
