I feel that scene where he pours water over her head was shown to let the audience know of his vile intentions. He wanted to look at her when she was wet & touch her which he did when putting the shawl over her.
Even though its a revenge story, i hope his character isn't all black.I think the 1st episode was slightly above average. Still looking forward to the next episode.
