Hey peeps!
How are we?
The Mother and I, were bored, excitement-less. Randomly Mother has a light bulb moment.
She said, and I quote, "Zoi, that show we used to watch, with YOUR Namik, it used to be good in the beginning. No good shows these days, let's rewatch!"
And by God, I went all, "Nazar utaro meri Maa ki, Aj meri Maa jaise baat ki hai! TERA Namik and Rewatch!"
So goes without saying, the Namik STAN in me, went "Neki aur pooch pooch?"
ABHI LAGAO!
So, we have now reached episode #54 in like 4 days, yeah binge watching! Before you jump the gun and say, kaam dhandha nahi hai kya? Hai bhai, kaam dhandha hai, but Namik ke liye, time nikal aata hai. It's like time says, "Here, more of me. For such beauty, its worth it."
Coming to the point, why this post?
I realised, no actually I didn't.
Realisation hit me like a truck, on how, why and irrevocably I fell in love with the show.
The script was so bloody crisp, the acting monumental!
Ramu kaka air crash and flight miss episode had me weeping buckets! Namik meri jaan!
Tu dil le!
Why didn't the show stay like this?
High on emotions and drama, but measured. Crisp story telling but honest. All the shit they served us later! Unki Ma ki!
But hey, I'm reinventing my love for the show, I will watch it till the end, hurl abuses, mourn its death again, but, I will never forget what made me fall so crazily for the show and why I continue to love it so.
Toh bas yahi hai, yeh batane ke liye post likha...
