Part 4Their cuddling was distributed by frequent knocks on the door. Suman removed her hand from Shravan's chest and tried to get up while Shravan tightened his hold on her waist!
Sumo: Shravu! Choro! Mujhe dekhne to do kaun hai...
Shravan: Nooo! I know you'll go away. Mat jao na Sumo.. (eyes getting moist)
Sumo: Tumhe mujhpar bharosa hai na, Shravan? (Cupping his face, while he nods his head) Bass, to mai promise karti hu ki mai tumhe chorkar kabhi nahi jaungi.
Shravan: Promise?
Sumo: (chuckling) Tumhare promise and God promise! (Kissing his forehead)
Shravan loosened his hold on her and Sumo hurriedly goes to the door and opens to find Preeti and Pushkar. Preeti was carrying some food while they were trying to smile after the turmoil.
Sumo: Arrey Pushkie! Pretty Preeti?! Aaa na andar. (smiling)
Preeti: (whispering) Di, Shravan abb thik hai na?
Sumo: (flashing her teeth) Ha. Aa andar.
Pushkar: (smiling and rushing to Shravan) Bhaiyaaa!! (Hugs him tightly)
Shravan: (holds him and hugs back) Pushkar! Bol. Kya hua! (Feels his own shoulder wet) Pushkar? Tu ro raha hai?! (makes him look at his face forcefully)
Sumo: (trying to lighten the situation) Ha ha! Pushkie? Tu kabse baccho ki tarah rone laga?! Waaa waaa?!! Ha ha ha!! (Takes the plate from Preeti and puts it on the bedside table)
Preeti: (chuckling and blushing) Khud ka baccha hone ja raha hai aur ye khud ro raha hai.
The room went silent while Preeti puts her hands on her mouth. Pushkar gets startled and looks at Preeti while Shraman remains shocked for a few moments.
After some time.
Sumo: (eyes getting out of the sockets) Kyaaa! Preeti? Kya boli? Phirse bol!
Preeti: (blushing profusely and covering her face with her hands) Aaa! Haaa! Di. Wooohh!!!
Shravan: (shaking Pushkar) Pushkar?! Mai Bade Papa hone ja raha hu? (grinning)
Pushkar: (blushing) Aur Sumo Badi Maa and Masi, both!
Sumo: (startles everyone by a loud) Aaa!!!!! (suddenly starts jumping and clapping) I am going to be Masi.. Yaay!!!! (runs to Preeti and hugs her tightly)
Pushkar: Sumo, tu kya is khusi mein Pagal ho gayi? Ugghh! Mera kaan!
Sumo: Shut up Pushkie! Tu to Baap hone ki khusi mein Dramebaaz ho gaya. Law chod aur ja kisi drama school mein.
Shravan: (trying to get up from his bed) Preeti.. Uggh! (looses balance)
Sumo: (running to him and both she and Pushkar holds him) Shravan! Kya kar rahe ho! Chup chap baithe raho! (scolding him like she was his mother)
Preeti: (smiling at her Di and Jiju's cuteness) Shravan. Boliye na. (comes and sits beside Pushkar)
Shravan: Sumo you scolded me? Huhhh!
Pushkar & Preeti: How Sweet!!!!!!
Sumo: (lowers her head and blushes) Shut up you both! And Shravan! Now you need to eat something. Come on.
Shravan: (scratches his head while his cheeks turned into a light shade of pink looking too adorable) Oh wait Sumo! Preeti, congratulations.
Preeti: Thanks Bhaiya!
Shravan: Bhaiya? Yess, I like it. Accha Sumo, get me something.
Sumo: Kya?
Shravan: Go to my Closet, right-hand side drawer. You'll find a Blue Velvet small box. Bring it.
Sumo: Okk?! (goes to the closet and shouts) Shravannn? (turns towards the three with hands on her hips, her eyes raging and nose red) You call this being neat? Haaa? This is neat? Being just away for a few hours, okay may be days made your closet like this! You idiot!
Shravan: Sumo, don't start now. Don't scold me like this in front of my younger brother and sister-in-law!
Pushkar: (teasing) No no Bhaiya! Not a problem! I'm enjoying this you know! (grinning)
Shravan: (pulling his ears) That's my problem you moron!
Sumo: (huffs but returns with the box) Now, take this! (hands it to Shravan)
Shravan: (takes the box) Thank you. So now, I brought this and some others from London when I came back but never gave it to Sumo. But now, it's the time. (taking Preeti's hands) Preeti, now this is yours.
Preeti: But Bhaiya, you had brought this for Di. I can't take it.
Shravan: I have plenty like this. And I can always get something for Sumo. (looking at her while Sumo gives a reassuring smile) But I think you'll need this now. (smiling and winking to Pushkar)
Preeti: Thanks Bhaiya. (opens the box and finds a dozen of handmade chocolates) Wowww! This is so cute!
Sumo: (coming to her and takes a chocolate from the box, opens the wrapper and puts it in Preeti's mouth) Congratulations once again and thank you for making me a maasi so fast! And keep these for your cravings! (showing her tongue)
Shravan: Ek minute Sumo! You are going to be Badi Maa, you know.
Sumo: No, Maasi.
Shravan: Badi Maa.
Sumo: Maasi.
Their banter continues and Preekar decides to let them on their quality time. After all they got to see the old Shraman once again. Silently they went out and closed the door.
Startled by the sound of the door closed.
Sumo: Preeti, Pushkar? See, because of your silly banter they went away Shravan. (huffing and sitting beside him)
Shravan: Because of me? What? Because of you Sumo!
Sumo: Why? I said the truth. I am going to be Maasi.
Shravan: (pulling her to him that Suman landed on his chest) No Sumo, you are going to be Badi Maa. And that's final.
Sumo: What's wrong with being Maasi?! (gets pulled closer to him, their noses touching)
Shravan: Because I am going to be Bade Papa. And you are Mine! Sooo... (holds her hair and pulls her making their lips meet; having a small passionate kiss)
Sumo: (moaning in the kiss) Ssshhhrrraaavvvuuu! Mmm...
Shravan: (pulls back being out of breath, their foreheads touching) You are mine, Sumo! (cupping her face with one hand while the other playing with her hair; looking at her glowing face)
Sumo: (still with closed eyes and with a soft smile) I am yours Shravu. Forever!
Shravan: So you are going to be Badi Maa, right Sumo?
Sumo: (opening her eyes) Right.
Shravan pulls her once more for a heated kiss and then hugs her tight.
After sometime.
Sumo: (remembering something) Shravan chodo mujhe.
Shravan: (loosening the hold) Kyu? Kya hua?!
Sumo: (makes him look at the bedside table) This. You need to eat. It's almost cold.
Shravan: Sumooo! Do I really have to eat? (pouting)
Sumo: (ruffling his head) Yess Buddhu. You need to take your medicines.
Shravan: Ok! (still pouting)
Sumo: (pecks his lips and comes down from his lap; takes the tray in her lap and taking one sandwich to feed him) Aaa karo!
Shravan: You are going to feed me? (eyes twinkling)
Sumo: Yess my Qutub Minar! Now do it fast. You need to catch some sleep.
Shravan: (taking a bite) Sumo, now you take a bite.
Sumo: Arrey nahi Shravan. Tum khao na. Main baad mein kha lungi.
Shravan: Sumo, see, Preeti is more clever than you. She knew that I won't leave you. See, she sent an extra sandwich. Now have it. (takes the other sandwich and feeds her lovingly)
After having their food, Sumo freshens up Shravan a bit and makes him have his medicines, forcefully! Tugging him in the bed, she moves to go downstairs.
Shravan: (sitting up) Sumo, don't go. Come and sleep beside me.
Sumo: No Shravan, I need to go downstairs and see others. It's going to be 8:00pm Shravu, I didn't go there after Arora Uncle went back.
Shravan: Sumo, please na. Not tonight. Please. For me. (eyes getting moist)
Sumo: Oh Shravannn! (rushing towards him and pulling him in a tight hug) Don't cry na. I love you.
Shravan: (squeezing her and sniffing) I love you Sumooo.
Sumo: (kissing behind his ear and ruffling the hair where he was hurt by Aditya) Okay babbah! I'll stay here. With you. Now let me change into something comfortable. (pulling back and kissing his eyes and forehead)
Shravan: Come fast. (leaves her)
Suman freshens herself, gets into a night dress and comes to the other side of the bed. Goes in the comforter, lays down. Shravan keeps his head on her right shoulder just above her chest and snuggles closer. Suman's breathing gets laboured at this certain proximity where Shravan's warm breaths fall on her cleavage. After sometime, her breathing gets normal and she pulls his head wrapping with her right hand closer to her chest. Their breaths get mingled as they drift to sleep Together. Contentedly.
