Namik Paul (born 19 September) is an IndianTelevision actor and former model.[3] He is well known for played the role of Shravan Malhotra in the Indian daily soap Ek Duje Ke Vaaste[4][5] and he has been awarded for the Best Jodi Critics at Lions Gold Awards.[6][7] He subsequently appeared in Befikre Belgium Ke[8][9] and The Trip.[10]
Early life and backgroundEdit
Namik hails from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. His father is a retired IAS Officer and his mother is a lawyer and Human rights, activist. He has one elder sister who is working as a High Court Lawyer in Chandigarh. Paul did his schooling in Dehradun and completed inWoodstock School, Mussoorie (boarding school). For his higher educations, he went toLewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon,United States and took up economics and math as his subjects.[11]

Namik Paul started his career as a Journalistwith NDTV 24x7 and later he started modeling too.[12] He first appeared onscreen as Ahsaan in the 4th season of Qubool Hai on Zee TV in 2015.[13] He made a debut in a leading role as Shravan Malhotra in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste aired on Sony TV in 2016.[14][15][16] Paul did a travel show Befikre Belgium Ke of Saas Bahu aur Beteiya segment on Aaj Tak.[17][18] Few Bollywood moments were also recreated in some locations. Paul is currently seen in aweb series The Trip on Bindass TV.[19]
