100% agree with your statement that the characters were human.
All the characters had their flaws, be it the main leads or the supporting cast. But despite their flaws we grew to love each and every one of them, because we know that no single human in this world is perfect.The imperfection of each character is what made them perfect and so very lovable.Kudos to the whole cast of EDKV for portraying their characters so beautifully.
That is why I love EDKV so much ..
