That's why Fans who care about Namik don't want his name to be ruined because as you said already some fans are trying to ruin his name & reputation. We as fans who care don't want his character nor his name to be ruined because Namik Paul is a Wonderful and Great person by nature as we all know. Because he was the one who played Shravan's Character.

This is not intended to hurt any writers, no doubt they are all Exceptionally good writers. But, certain aspects have to be respected because we all care about that Character.

Once again, not intended to hurt any writers, but wrote this post with Good Intentions :)

Yeah, writers mentioned 18 +, but here it's not about readers who are not comfortable with reading these topics. Rather, it's about people coming here to EDKV Forum because it's a Family oriented Forum & people want to read about Namik as he was the one who played Shravan's character. Shravan's character is a wonderful character, so that even if people write about Shravan, it reflects on unknowingly on Namik. So, it would be really nice if they avoid writing too much intimately & inappropriate content about Shravan, who has been played by Namik. Good Fans of Namik/Shravan don't want his character to be portrayed negatively because EDKV has ended, and that good name earned by Shravan should always remain alive in the hearts and minds of people around the world. It's not about reading it when we like it nor when we don't like it, rather it is about Shravan's Good and Decent Character.

I never said those stories were unrealistic. However, we are all bounded by ethics & there is a protocol for everything. It's part of life i agree, but any relationship which is dear, close to heart & soul should not be publicly talked as people around the world respect & value relationships between Husband/Wife & True Boyfriend/Girlfriend let it before marriage or after marriage. And, most importantly EDKV is a Family-Oriented topic & it is very realistic & close to Indian Families, so it is better to refrain from saying anything negative. All age groups as Namik Paul has played Shravan Malhotra's character by beautifully engraving himself in every household. So, it has to be respected :)

My intention is not to hurt nor bash anybody, but writing this post with good intentions. :)

Because I want this character to be respected & hope writers write more good stuff on this character. :)

Yes, he might do other characters in future. But, every character has a life and meaning associated with it, and Namik is very smart enough & he will surely choose good and decent characters. People should not degrade nor write negatively about NamikPaul/Shravan as it is a very decent, and respected character. EDKV has taken place, and Namik has taken over everybody's hearts with his decent characterization in every household.

Hey there, I agree it's writers creativity.But, If you go back to my post and read it carefully, I have not insulted anybody by putting this post. I mentioned we need to respect these characters as they were beautifully created by Mr.Dilip Jha.

We have the choice to avoid any content if it disturb us.. why to blame them.. if fans ask something romantic they will write it.. what is it connection with namik.. namik is an actor if sharvan character have romance he will do it no matter if some fans like it r not.. it's all Demand of script.. nothing to do with namik If he feels like that he can't act.. most of Hindi serials survive with only romance and fans watch it for romance!!

It's not about avoiding. Because EDKV is closely related to Indian Families. If Fans ask anything romantic, writing romantic is not wrong. But, going too deep with Vulgarity and Intimacy is Inappropriate and Uncomfortable for Readers. Because Family-Oriented People come to read this Forum for reading topics here. Namik played the character of Shravan, and it is not appropriate to degrade his characterization. Namik is an actor, and no doubt he has to act. But, Shravan Character is a very Decent Character, and many people have liked Shravan's Character because it was like a role model for many youngsters. Yes, demand of script but in this script they did not demand all these types of inappropriate content. Some of the serials with too much intimacy and inappropriate content got closed quickly. But, this serial has ended on a good note very decently, & Shravan's character will stay in everybody's mind.

Unfortunately we didn't get much that side of shraman.. so fans ask writers to imagine shraman because we r not that much fortunate to see their future.. some of them r happy by reading those stories.. atleast we got this chance otherwise we know how our show ended abruptly!!

Mr.Dilip Jha's creation and script was not written like that. It was written with Good Intentions, and those Characters were very decent. It has to be respected & written. Writers can write so much about Shraman characters, but portraying it in negative way is spoiling & degrading Shravan's character. Romance is ok, but going in depth beyond that is negatively spoiling the story and characters.

I didn't read much stories because I imagine while reading.. after that I will upset like I didn't see shraman scenes like this so I always avoid it.. u can do that if u don't like it..

Don't want to do as you did & don't want to avoid. People come here to read EDKV stories in the Forum & since Shravan's character is very dear to everyone - we expect decent and good stories as EDKV is a relationship oriented story. Shravan and Suman characters are very decent characters & it is motivating for younger generation to learn from them as they have set very good examples & rolemodels.

Without these writings forum will be dead.. some prefer romance some prefer drama.. shraman r young couple so romance suits them they had sizzling chemistry so why not we have hot romantic stories if u prefer mature romance that happens in Rashmi shrama shows then u will get disappointment!!

Yes, I absolutely agree. Some prefer Drama & some prefer Romance in the stories. But, it is not necessary to have a mature romance in every story. Even with slight romance, most of the novels have become instant hits. So, not only romance, but it is the story. How stories are written, content,characters, and how they are projected matters the most like Pride and Prejudice for example.

Anyway it's ur choice u can avoid them!!

Not planning to avoid anything. Want to read more, but with good matter & content in the stories & to see Shravan stories alive without degrading the characters.

Don't have to go those classes coz know the info already as I am an author & writer as well. To be a good writer and author, one need not write about sex only. Lot of good content can be written from a single word with good content/matter. Complaining to Govt - ? Doesn't make sense. This is a Forum yaar.

That's why I am saying we should be Sensible and Readers should enjoy these stories comfortably. We should not be rude to drive away those who are not interested. We should create interest in readers, that's what a Good Writer/Author does & should not to drive away Readers :)

Forum rankings will improve if we have more readers coming in & reading good topics.Once again, EDKV is a Family Oriented Serial & all age groups love Shravan's Decent Characterization portrayed very well by Mr.Dilip Jha.

Though EDKV has ended abruptly, still it ended very nicely compared to other serials. So, that will always remain.

Hope this clarifies.

Hey, You might be really active in other 2 forums & that's really nice. But, just because it's 18+, not everybody will be interested in reading inappropriate and intimate matter. It's not about not reading it. People come to these forums esp. EDKV Forum to read good stories & the skill of a writer lies in writing beautiful stories so that readers are interested to read. Intentions of a Good Writer must not be to drive away readers, and that is not the point. When you are driving away readers that means, you are not showing your writing skills properly.

If 18+ stories degrade edkv then the rest of the stories which are way more than 18+ would have upgraded our show and saved it from shutting down... dont say illogical thing..

Not saying illogically. If you go to my post and read properly, I said EDKV has values, ethics, and they were very particular in entire series to keep it Family-Oriented and no Inappropriate Stuff. Shravan's character is very decent and ethical character with Good Moral Values. So, all I am saying is to be mindful about writing inappropriate and intimate content about that particular character. You can write about Shravan's romance, etc but going beyond with intimate and inappropriate matter will not be comfortable for readers as well because EDKV was set with Realistic Indian Family Background. Rest of the serials which had too much vulgarity got shut down, and it's nice that EDKV ended on a Good and decent note, so that it is remembered & deeply rooted in all Indian Families hearts.

Even saas bahu show's forums have 18+ stories.. edkv was a youth oriented love story so 18+ stories are bound to happen.. also stop looking at all these kind of stories are something bad and widen your narrow mind set... most of the IF members are youngsters and i dont think there is any 40+ or 50+ members are there in edkv forum.. even if there is if they had problems they would have said it.. except for you no one seems to have a problem...

It's not only me, but my family, friends & relatives come to this Forum & read stories. Don't have a narrow perception, rather i am able to see things as they are supposed to be. That is the Difference. I am not saying i have a problem. Please reread my post carefully, and all I said was to limit the amount of inappropriate and intimate content being written in these stories. Because EDKV is a FamilyOriented Serial with High Ethics and Moral Values. Shravan's character is a Role Model to the younger generation. As a well-wisher of this Forum, I hope this character won't be degraded because this character has filled everybody's heart in every Indian household.

If Writers maintain Good Guidelines, Stories will become Instant hits.

To be a Good Writer, Good Characters, Plot, Good Content and Conclusion matter the most. It's not Sex all the time as EDKV is not a Sex-driven story.

okkk so how does writing mature content on Shravan degrades Namik in any way? reality check shravan is just a character.

And regarding kids- well if they have access to internet and if they are not able to refrain from reading such content even after a warning explicitly mentioned, i don't think anyone can stop them from reading it else where to. 21st century much?

And its a free forum, if there is anything inappropriate with any of the contents, the mod will look in to it.Though i hardly have ever seen a forum without mature stories.

I absolutely fail to understand what you mean by decent characterisation, no offence but intimacy is a pretty natural stuff.

I have no idea why is it such a taboo to read or know about it if literally everyone in the world is involved.
