Chapter One

We will always be there for each other

seven years later - ShraMan are living together happily and both are extremely successful at what they do and very supportive of each other's career moves. Sumo has opened a Mumbai branch of PCT as well with Nirmala's help, and Nirmala often travels to Delhi to be with her family.

Shravan's POV

Zindagi me agar pyaar ho toh zindagi bahut khoobsoorat ho jaati hai. Par wo pyaar hi kya jo aasaani se mil jaaye. Har epic love story me mushkilon ke baad hi pyaar milta hai, meri kahaani bhi kuch alag nahi, ismein bhi kayee mod aaye, mushkilein aayee, jhagde hue par ek cheez hamesha rahi hai - humara ek dusre ke liye pyaar. Arey maine toh apne aapko introduce hi nahi kiya, Hi, main hun Shravan.. Shravan Malhotra aur main apne bachpan ki dost and wife Sumo se bahut pyaar karta hun. Aap toh jaante hi hain ki hum kitni mushkil se ek hue, aur in saari mushkilon ke liye dusron se jyaada hum dono hi zimmedar the. Humara ego jo hamesha beech me aa jaata tha. Iss ego ke chalte hum dono ne hi ek dusre ko bahut dukh pahunchaya. Aaj bhi jab main un saari baaton ko yaad Karta hun toh soch me pad jaata hun ki hum dono ne kaise ek dusre ko maaf kar diya, shayad isi ko pyaar kehte hain.

Hamari shaadi court me hui thi aur isse humare gharwalon ko bada dukh pahuncha tha, isliye humari sulah hone ke baad maine apna promise poora karte hue sabko ek achi si party di, jisme humare saare school friends bhi aaye aur sabke saath humne apni khushi share ki(flashback both of them dressed as bride and groom posing happily for pictures with friends and family)

Hum dono apne honeymoon ke liye London gaye jahan maine Sumo ko apne saare doston se milaya aur usko apni saari favourite jagahon par lekar gaya. (flashback - both of them eating fish and chips in a pub, taking a walk in nothing hill, cycling in Hyde Park, buying stuff on Oxford Street. .)

Ek saal baad humari zindagi me ek nanha shaitaan aaya jiska naam humne Shivam rakha(flashback both of them in a hospital room surrounded by ramnath, nirmala, natural, sumo on hospital bed holding the baby - pushkar clicking pictures)

Our world revolves around him

Story Chapter 2

Shivam bilkul apni maa par gaya hai, wahi brown aankhein, wahi hazaar watt ki sweet si smile, wahi dadagiri aur shaitaniyan, sach kahun toh ghar me tabhi shanti hoti hai jab wo so raha hota hai aur sote hue wo apni ma se bhi pyara lagta hai. Papa aur Sumo ne shayad kabhi aisa socha bhi nahi hoga ki wo mujhse jyada kisi se pyaar kar sakte hain par Shiv se dono itna pyaar karte hain ki shayad unhe bhi iska andaza nahi. Meri bhi zindagi me sabse important ab wo hi hai, shayad Sumo se bhi jyada. Hum dono ek dusre ke bina shayad reh bhi jaaye par Shiv ke bina rehne ki soch bhi nahi sakte.

Waise wo thoda meri tarah bhi hai, bilkul jalkukda... Aaj subah Sumo jab nashta kar rahi thi toh priyanka (preekar's daughter) Sumo ki godi me aakar baith gayi. Shiv ne dekha ki uski ma priyanka ko nashta khila rahi hai toh wo rooth ke rone laga aur tabhi mana jab priyanka ko utar ke Sumo ne usko godi me baitha kar nashta karaya. (flashback - a six year old cute kid comes down the stairs, is upset to see his elder cousin sitting in his mamma's lap, doesn't say anything just takes the chair opposite and refuses to eat anything. Sumo and Priyanka get what is going on and Priyanka gets down. Sumo gets up slowly and goes to Shiv, she starts tickling him and he starts laughing she picks him up saying mera baccha and then feeds him breakfast) Waise usko kahaniya sunne ka bhi bahut shauk hai. Jab tak wo mujhse raat ko story nahi sun leta wo sota nahi hai.(A very nice room with pictures of cars all around and Shravan and Shiv are sitting on Shiv's bed and Shravan is telling Shiv the story of Pinocchio) Har mahine usse nayi kitabein aur comics chahiye hoti hain aur haan ek baat toh maine apko batayi hi nahi, mujhe lagta hai ki uski height bilkul meri jaisi hogi kyuki wo abhi se hi apni age ke bachchon se kaafi lamba hai.

Sumo POV

Shravan chahe kuch bhi sochta ho, meri life me usse zaroori koi bhi nahi, Shiv bhi nahi, haan Shiv zaroor mera hissa hai par main usse itna zyaada pyaar isliye karti hun kyuki wo mere Shravan ka bhi hissa hai, aur wo bilkul apne papa pe gaya hai, waisa hi akdu hai, waisa hi possessive aur utna hi sweet aur caring hai. Isliye hi shayad koi kuch bhi kahe ki maine apne laadle ko bigad rakha hai, par main usse naraaz nahi reh paati, na hi uski aankhon me aansu dekh paati hun. Aaj subah ki hi baat hai, jab hum sokar uthe toh dekha ki usne apne baalon mein hair gel ki poori tube laga li thi aur apne papa ki tarah apne baalon ko style karne ki koshish me laga tha. Is chakkar me usne shravan ke perfume ki bottle bhi tod di thi. Gussa toh mujhe bahut aaya par wo (thinking back fondly, their cutiepie with messed up gelled hair standing in the closet with a hairbrush in his hand and mess all around) kitna pyara lag raha tha.. Phir bhi maine jhooth mooth ka gussa dikhate hue daant lagayi (Sumo trying to control her laughter and trying to look angry) ...

Shravan - Phir hona kya tha.. Apni ma ko wo bade ache se jaanta hai, ek aansu tapkaya nahi ki Sumo ne khud hi sorry bol ke usko gale se laga liya, aur to aur usko manane ke liye tiffin me sev ki sabzi bana kar di... Sumo khud itne dramein karti hai phir bhi apne bete ki nautanki ke aage haar jaati hai.

PART 4 Sumo and Shravan's POV

Shravan - waise wo dosti nibhane me bilkul apne papa ka beta hai

Sumo (in a cute mimicking voice) - bilkul apne papa ka beta huh.. Mera beta samajhdaar hai tumhari tarah har baat usko bol kar nahi samjhani padti.. Wo shreya ke bina kahe hi sab samajh jaata hai..

Shravan - haan haan meri dadi ma.. Tumhare jaisa hai bas.. Nautanki kahin ki

Flashback - One week back

A silver Mercedes is entering the driveway in front of the school building, all of a sudden another silver Mercedes enters the driveway and comes to a halt right in front of the other one. The door of the first car opens and Shravan comes out, Sumo sees him and gets out of her car.

Shravan - Pagal ladki! gaadi koi aise chalata hai

Sumo - acha, driveway me galat side se kaun aa raha tha? Aur ye tumhare bete ne phir se kya kiya, kitni important meeting thi meri.

Shravan - mera beta, tumhare laadle ke karan mujhe last moment pe pushkar ko bhejna pada next date maangne ke liye.

Sumo - Acha ab andar chalo

Both enter the principal's office

Principal - Shiv bahut hi acha baccha hai, saare teachers usse bahut like karte hain, par aaj jo usne kiya hai wo chinta ki baat hai isliye maine aapko bulaya hai

Both - Kya baat hai please bataiye, wo aajkal kuch zyada badmash ho gaya hai

Principal - Wo actually usne apne doston ke saath milke first standard ke ladkon ko peet diya.

Shravan - Acha (secretly wondering and probably guesses the reason so he is slightly happy as Shiv is never violent or does not ever speak in a loud or rash manner)

Sumo sees that Shravan is happy, and gets annoyed

Sumo - Shravan, usne koi acha kaam nahi kiya, ab ladne bhi laga, dekhti hun usko aaj

Shravan - (thinks to himself - haan ye dekhegi usko, kisko bana rahi ho Sumo) Kya main do minute ke liye un sabse mil sakta hun?

Principal - Haan mil lijiye

Shravan goes in a room inside the office. Shiv, Shreya, Pulkit and few other friends of Shiv are sitting inside, serving detention when other students are playing football.

Shravan asks Shivam - beta, why did you pick a fight with the older kids

Shiv - papa, they were insulting Shreya's daddy, aur kya karta main.

Flashback - Shiv and his friends are playing basketball, shreya is watching them play. Two kids from 1st Standard come and start teasing Shreya that she is a loser's daughter (Shreya's father is the Son of Arora uncle - the family doctor of Malhotras (one who used to treat shravan and sumo) - he is also a doctor and was working in a pvt hospital and lost his job, Shravan is fighting his case for wrongful termination, one of the kids who were teasing shreya is the son of the owner of that hospital. Tears start flowing from Shreya's eyes. Although Shiv was engrossed in the game, he noticed the exchange. He comes with his friends and together they beat up the two older boys.

Back to the school Flashback - Shravan to Shiv - beta I am extremely proud of you, Well done, he turns to the other kids, Well done guys, you stood up for what is right, looks towards Shiv - and your friend. He kisses shiv on the top of his head, messes his hair and enters the office again

He promises the principal that Shiv will behave and tells him the reason behind the incident. The principal is also happy to hear the reason but Sumo and the Principal say that he needs to be told off for beating up others otherwise he will think that it's ok to be violent. (but we know the Sumo wrestler inside Mrs Suman Shravan Malhotra is jumping crazily with joy.)

Sumo is taking Shiv home in her car and Shravan says that he will go back to the office saying that he will come back home in a while. The trio had planned to go out for dinner but Sumo cancels the plan as a punishment for Shiv and Shiv sulks. Shravan notices but does not say anything.

He goes to the office where he shares the whole incident with Ramnath. Both are very happy and decide to do something to cheer up the apple of their eye.

Ramnath comes home and sends for Shiv, he takes his grandson for a drive explaining him that it may not be right to react violently in all situations and it is necessary to have a hold on one's temper. They go to an ice cream parlour, where Ramnath buys ice cream for both and the grandad-grandson duo have a fab time.

Sumo is happy for her baby but feigns anger in front of Shravan - main sab jaanti hun ye kiska kaam hai, bigaado usko, baad me mujhe mat bolna.

Shravan is amused and laughs out loudly, hugs Sumo and kisses her on her nose and lovingly whispers in her ears - Nautanki

Story 5 -

Today is their anniversary, not the one when he had dragged her to court in spite, ( that they never celebrated) but seven years had passed since the day he had declared that his room, everything in it, he, his soul, his love all belonged to her.

The trio were going out to celebrate - Shravan is getting ready in front of the mirror

Sumo coyly from behind the closet panel where she is donning a pink and grey saree - waise shravan tum kya har waqt taiyar hote rehte ho

Shravan - Ab kya karoon koi hai jo bahut khubsurat hai aur usko impress karne ke liye hot toh lagta hi padta haina

Shravan opens the drawer and takes out a jewellery case, unnoticed by Sumo he comes towards her and places a very pretty diamond and emerald necklace around her neck. He kisses her on the nape and wishes her a happy anniversary.

Shravan - Acha ab mera gift do

Sumo - Abhi nahi baad me

Shravan - Nahi abhi do, and he starts tickling her.

Sumo - in between giggles - bola na baad me ab mujhe jaane do please, Shiv ko bhi uthana hai aur ready karna hai

Shravan - Abhi do nahi toh main nahi jaane dunga, he holds her in a tight embrace

Sumo - Arghh.. Tum bahut ziddi ho, Shiv se bhi zyada, Acha ab apni bookshelf dekho, kya wahaan kuch alag hai

A smile plays on their lips, he lets her go and goes towards the bookcase. He sees that a book is placed upside down, It is the same book of 12th standard in which once he had hidden a letter pouring out his feelings for her. He opens the book and finds an envelope inside..
