Khamoshiyan aawaaz hain
Tum sun'ne to aao kabhi
Chhukar tumhe khill jaayengi
Ghar inko bulaao kabhi
Beqarar hain baat karne ko
Kehne do inko zaraa..
Shravan stumbled into His car. The events and the twist of fate was too heavy to take in at one go. There was pain, the breaking of an illusion. He was devastated. Feelings couldn't form words in his mind. All that was with him was silence.
Khamoshiyan.. teri meri khamoshiyan
Khamoshiyan.. lipti hui khamoshiyan
Both of them had been silent, all the time. Though not quite literally but the Silence of their feelings caused all the ignorance and the oblivion that he'd become.
Kya uss gali mein kabhi tera jaana hua
Jahaan se zamaane ko guzre zamaana hua
Mera samay toh wahin pe hai thehra hua
Bataaun tumhe kya mere sath kya kya hua
He wanted to tell her what he had been through. Those lanes of unending miseries. Those sleepless nights. Love seemed so distant, he just wanted to grab and engulf himself in it. The darkness of lies had been breaking him from within.
Whenever he thought of her, he still visualised that Choti Sumo, fighting with him. He wanted to tell her how much he has loved her, and will do so till Eternity.
Khamoshiyan ek saaz hai
Tum dhun koi laao zaraa
Khamoshiyan alfaaz hain
Kabhi aa gunguna le zara
Beqarar hain baat karne ko
Kehne do inko zaraa.. haa..
His heart flinched and twisted
The eagerness to confess was beyond everything. His silence had been playing since long. And now, this silence will talk : to reveal the ocean of unsaid emotions.
Khamoshiyan.. teri meri khamoshiyan
Khamoshiyan.. lipti hui khamoshiyan
Nadiya ka paani bhi khamosh behta yahaan
Khili chandani mein chhipi lakh khamoshiyan
Baarish ki boondon ki hoti kahaan hai zubaan
Sulagte dilon mein hai khamosh uthta dhuaan
He stopped his car
He was there. Only a few minutes before he let it out.
He went straight to her Room. She was all coiled up on the bed, crying. He was still silent. Just tears streaming out of his red eyes. It was like the incessant rain, creating havoc. Like the sunshine which burnt.
His silence was speaking : she moved close to him. She could feel him, a thing that had lost its sense over the last few months.
Khamoshiyan aakaash hai
Tum udne toh aao zara
Khamoshiyan ehsaas hai
Tumhe mehsoos hoti hai kya
Beqarar hain baat karne ko
Kehne do inko zara.. haa..
She stroke his face. She knew what he had to say.
He flopped onto the ground, breaking up. She kneeled beside him. He wrapped up himself in her slender arms. And this was the unspoken confession that they had. It seemed like the heaven was showered on them.
He let it out, she was there with him. They both cried, to wipe away the moments of frustration, gloominess and vain.
Khamoshiyan.. teri meri khamoshiyan
Khamoshiyan.. lipti hui khamoshiyan
