Mona...ofc this calls for a separate discussion ..but briefly...the writer seemed to hesitate while opening up on the character traits of Sumo...leaving a lot for imagination...and in his layered writing...he ended up creating a strange section of audience...some like us...who were reading the character for the deeper hidden traits and therefore were looking for a track that highlighted or took the narrative further and One section of audience who became Shravan baiters by default becos the redeeming features in him were suddenly shown as diminishing...

mujhe utna khaas nahin laga. Lol. I have tried it before aa well. I am planning to try Behyad and Chandranandini.

I vowed not to watch Gul Khan shows after Humsafars and I won't watch Ekta anyways and the way its is going may not try Bindu Moving Images for a looong time.

What choices does one have !

Yes, agree. Sumo was underdeveloped as a character. I virtually hated the younger sumo. So the lack of empathy of a grown up sumo in situations I thought she should empathize left me unsatisfied. But I guess its also because Namik is a great actor and he made Shravan more 'real' and palpable, which may not be the writer's original plan. Remember the after reunion party - Main kya hoon, aur tum kya ho... its like Sumo rose in those ten years and Shravan crest falls... But because Namik made Shravan so adorable, the falls hit harder, and somehow, I craved for a leveling of burdens...

I tried IB it' fun but time pass fun.

I didn't find it much engaging.

Waiting for chandranandadi and behyad

I am skeptical about behyad tho, it might turn out to be over hyped.

Also, Rekha... I think a lot of us who side with Sumo side with her due to our own interpretations and projections of an independent woman. Objectively, Sumo was wrong on several ocassions, though all of us drew from inner experiences and energies to relate to her. On the other hand, Shravan was more relatable because his backstory was so well incorporated.

No one knows how Sumo became Suman? Not even Shravan, not even me :)

And like I said, mujhe aur mere Shravan ko chhoti sumo ki imaginary sorry se hi kaam chala padega :)
