Aren't you here today

To scoff ?

When I have stopped running

And turned to face you.

Aren't you here today

To mock ?

Insisting she doesn't love me

The way I do.

Aren't you here today

To call my bluff ?

Did you celebrate

When my mask came off ?

Aren't you here today

To sneer ?

Or has her being here

Caused you to flee

Now,

That I can't find you anymore

It appears, my love

That I have to be content

With thee.

P.S : A Shravan perspective, of when Sumo enters his room.

One day, few minutes of her missing and see his condition. You know how much I hated this idea of marriage but yesterday I really felt that Shravan has reached a point where he cannot live without Sumo anymore, it is so visible when he questions her if she is ok and the way he shouts at her after that, is not anger, is it ? Anguish may be a better word for it. My vocab is limited.

Teda Shravan will not last 10 minutes in Sumo's presence, if not for Ramnath.

Sigh..That scene.

He was so worried..The peace that settled over him when she landed in his arms..The concern if anything had happened to her at all..The outburst when he had to scold her getting him all worried...

And then Suman's matter of fact reply..

And the way he came back to reality!

He had immediately looked at Pushkar..Indeed, had he made too much of a big deal out of it?

But Nanu supported him...and then came Daboo...who cornered him nicely.

Each and every expression in that scene spoke volumes!

Wonderful lines Nith!

I don't think even Shravan likes the man in the mirror... Try as he might, he can't change the fact that he's still the Shravan who didn't mind bending to fit himself in the smaller mirror in his room (that was such beautiful symbolism!) - especially when it came to Sumo. He believes he shattered that image the day he broke that mirror. But he can't, because that's become imprinted on his DNA.

It was always clear, as you aptly put it, that tedha Shravan won't last 10 minutes in front of Sumo, IF NOT FOR RAMNATH. That their love will forever keep them together is a done deal.

You know, call me a sadist if you will, but I actually like the fact that Ramnath's nefarious schemes are making ShraMan take a long, hard look at their relationship. At the preeti-bhoj, both of them hastily covered up a lot of festering wounds, and let many unasked questions flounder. Which, in times of crisis, were bound to resurface, and they have. The love's always there, but without trust and acceptance of each other's flaws, the ride gets way too bumpy.

Tedha Shravan seeing himself in the mirror... Nice!!!

The facade is going to be so hard for him to keep on with Sumo around all the time...

Yesterday Shravan was bliss, the real Shravan shone through.. And I loved it.

Remember we had this discussion some days back after that Ram Shravan convo.. Wherein Shravan indicated that his life wasn't worth living anymore.. We were talking about what will make him live... Don't we have the reason now?

But there's still a long way to go to become the man he really is...

Lovely one Nith...👏

Tedha Shravan is a facade thru and thru...its just a veneer he puts on to protect himself from whatever little pain he can avoid...it is very easy to call his bluff...takes very little now for the mask to come off...

His mask was the strongest in the "I have moved on" phase...if it had slipped a bit...Sumo would have read it better...😆😆
