Sumo feels terribly let down today, i felt sad to see her hopes and aspirations dashed. but couldn't help that nagging feeling at the back of my mind that she has seldom tried to see anyone else's POV...
Isn't it weird that the CVs have created not one, but two, independent working women in this show, but in such a biased manner that we cannot even relate to them completely!
@anu - true that! and that is mainly because CVs (in the Indian telly world) do not know how to create balanced human beings. they are extremes - and hence are sumo and nirmala. they are irrationally independent. the problem is also that they bend at their will.
this same sumo had no problem with chomu buying her a lehenga she could not afford - she did not even confront him once on that. why so?
She also bends backwards for her own family - is that mainly because of her ehsaan? what if we take out ehsaan from the equation - will she argue with her own family too?
Well, with Suman Tiwari, you probably cannot take ehsaan out of the equation, until "someone" shows her that she deserves to be loved for what she is.
One unrelated (or maybe not) thought about that lehenga: A person who doesn't want to make room in the shaadi budget to buy a decent ring for the groom gets a Rs 50,000 (after discount) lehenga for herself? Ah, but then I'm looking for logic in the wrong place 😃
