Raj, I empathize with Ramu too. Nimmi ko mare dla Cvs ne. they have made her too stupid for me to care😆 If she had acted the same way back then, no wonder Ramu let her go & doesn't want her back. Ramu was quite accepting of Sumo, he even asked her opinion before appointing Shrav as his heir.when he saw her switching to team Nimmi, he decided to keep her away frm her son.I won't fault him.

For me the point was this - his reaction after the rape attempt

After such a huge incident, i expected his head to come back to normal and realise how precious the people you love are. Fights and complaints don't matter in the long run

But his crassness shocked me. I dunno - this does not feel like love.

With a story, there should always be balance. balance sadness with happiness, anger with patience, etc, otherwise you risk pushing the character to the extreme. Which is what the writer's have done.

Also anyone who was in Suman's life at that time would be able to give a clearer picture about what happened to Suman after college. If she had been a promising student, did she live up to the expectations?

Cooking is her passion..She might have wanted to do a good Hotel Management course which could have helped a girl with her capabilities, taking PCT to bigger heights...

I mean, passion was there- training would have helped too..She is just a novice running a Tiffin Service right now...But she is learning on the job! 👍🏼

I remember applauding Nirmala for that comment, because that was the first time someone had appreciated Suman ...apart from, may be Pushkar.

Shravan keeps asking na, 'Tumhare paas hai bhi kya jo tum Shravan Malhotra ko de sakti ho?' ...

Deep down it shows he doesn't respect her status...at least when he is angry..😆

Nirmala had to say it at that time, because the disparities were becoming glaringly obvious...Suman was struggling forever...Only a woman who had been in Suman's shoes before could understand her. (Long back..after that Nirmala just inherited Ahuja's wealth🥱...but as a woman entrepreneur she had the qualification to opine on this. 😉)

That was a perfect time for the fairy tale to break too...😆

I'd say,

The seeds of a great love story is still there when he reacts like that...

He just happened to analyse it the wrong way, so he didn't have to blame himself for allowing Aditya to even go ahead with the wedding, knowing how 'narrow minded' and 'manipulative' this guy was...He didn't want to leave room for that guilt...So naturally he found reasons to blame her for what happened to her.

One of them had to be responsible! 😉

No person should be this dependent on someone..If something happened to Shravan, Ramnath wouldn't have gone into this kind of shock🥱. Suman - yes..She'd react like this for Shravan...

I feel if we look for heroic qualities in Shravan, we'd be disappointed...Because that is when we start defending him and launching an offensive at the other characters...I know my POV won't be welcomed by most of the forum...😳..Just stating something I feel strongly about.😉
