I don't want to go into the morality of what Adhi did or what Shrav said here. Just want to talk about the nerd turned vamp's revenge plan.
After tossing in his bed worrying about the impact of his lie on Sumo's future,he goes back to sleep as Naya Shrav.
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." May be Shrav knew about Adhi's reckless side and pushed the right buttons. He decided he won't worry about the consequences of his slander. That was for the most dangerous woman on his list to deal with.
At the wedding he just had to tell Adhi "I was kidding last night" and desperate Adhi would've bought it.He chose not to.
Poor Suman, wanted to hang on to the last vestige of her freedom and refused to talk to Adhi.
then Adhi went berserk and Shrav turned murderous.
Unless the writers tell me otherwise, I'm going to stick to my opinion of Adhi not being a despo and was only using unorthodox methods to get a confession out of Sumo.

If only Adhi had told Sumo plainly what he heard about her past, Sumo would've slapped Shravan and he could've got his kiss and more. Alas! Adhi tried his "apne tarieky' that backfired on him big time.He is branded as desperate molester and Shravan becomes the hero.
Nimmi is in pain and Adhi is pretty much disowned by his adopted Mom.
Shrav gets into the good books of his best friend again. She is indebted to him for life. And no one will believe Adhi if he talks about the lie he was fed.

That was revenge!

P.S- I know Shrav is feeling guilty, even for putting Nimmi tthr' it.Namik is a great actor, there was a flicker of emotions when he sees Nimmi at Nanu's feet apologizing for Adhi.

Yes Adi is the fall guy but he set himself up for this! His "Dog with a bone" attitude is what got him in this mess! Shravan just dropped him in it by confirming his worst fears. You wanna know what happened Bro? Everything! Even as he said the words, while I cringed, I also felt a smug satisfaction at Aditya's pale and shocked complexion!

Then his attempts to talk to Suman go in vain, and he "fully loaded" comes to confront her just before the ceremony. What the HELL was he thinking, acting the way he did? As for Shravan not telling him "I was kidding last night"...WHY would he do that? To make Adhi feel better? Is that something he wants to do. Just like I saw Namik's comment on snapchat..."Shravan didnt think of Suman in his vindictiveness". He reflected later when it was too late and again decides he was right to treat Adi the way he did. Conveniently left out the part of if Suman deserves that or not? She trusted him as a friend and she surely did not deserve this no matter what she had done.

Suman was treated abominably by both stupid ass-hats! I hope Shravan reflects later as to what brought on this behavior in Aditya? Do I play a part in it too? He should surely know this was all inter connected to the brewing situation for the past few weeks.

Finally the S**t hit the fan. Yes Namik is a superb actor and I saw those flickers of subtle emotions he displays in "flash seconds" that you almost miss them! Just the way we do in "Real" life, before we put up our guard again. He did exactly that in the scene where he had a flicker of emotion at Nirmala's plight. If Shravan was not played SO well, it would be easy to despise his actions sometimes and even him. But Namik is so amazing, and he brings out those human and vulnerable emotions in Shravan that you can't help but connect to him. Like that last scene when he told Sumo to not thank him? His GUILT was so visible. He was cringing. That's why he could not wait to get out of her sight! Nicely done!

P.S: When I saw him play Ehsaan in lost cause called QH4, I had NO idea this was the calibre of actor he was going to be. He was effective in that, he had a few OK scenes, but overall he was wasted. He did look good with Additi though. (But that woman looks good with anyone, she is really gorgeous and has an amazing screen presence. Her voice modulation and dialogue delivery? Wow! I used to be in awe of her) Sorry off topic...but our Boy Namik found his dream role in Shravan Malhotra! :)

And Mandyy, Shravan acted like the dog in the manger.😆
Shrav could've told him to make things right for Sumo. She didn't deserve this betrayal.
Oh yes!it's Namik's amazing acting that makes me cheer for this nerd, even as he goes about hurting the two most dangerous women who love him the most.
I like Ronit too. He compliments Namik & Nikki well and can hold his own.

I didn't watch QH4. Nad this is Namik's first show for me. I like the kid who played Chotu Shravan. Just saw him in SP's Diya aur bati, something I never watch but he got me glued to the screen till the zombie couple entered. He played a terrorist/criminal, so different from sweet Shrav. Can't wait for that boy to grow up and do a good show.

When Aditya announced about his wedding with Suman, Shravan too felt betrayed?? that too after ending all the relations with her... and all that 'dance with me" and that dance was also cheap act by Shravan...but yes... he still didn't crossed the limit...his suppressed desire for bedroom ki khushi surfaced that time only...🤢...he invited that other girl to his room, only to insult her... that was also...cheapfest!

Same happened with Aditya... but in his case... he crossed the limit ..his fault ...his foolishness... and he paid the price!!!

I think the main issue here is the image of Suman.. everyone thinks that she is the Boss of her life! So when her marriage news broke... Shravan thought that she is marrying Aditya because of some selfish reason (new bakara in her kitty) and Aditya thought that she loves him...
so both of them never tried to ask her the real reason for the decision..

@bold- So true! It's hard even for Shrav who is deeply involved in the family to know about her constrains, mainly because of the mask she wears.

Word! @ Bold

I could not have said it better! The men in Suman's life not from her family have a "False" image of her. Shravan, Ramnath, Aditya even maybe sometimes Pushkar. (who seems to understand her the best out of these men). Most think of Suman as "Sumo" the Super girl. They don't see the vulnerable and suppressed side of her. That side of her she keeps well hidden! For that reason they MU her a lot and always thinks she makes choices out of "Ego" because she is a self-made woman! But sometimes she makes those decisions just to please her loved ones. Her family.

Suman is VERY real and a character that any number of woman could be! In fact like many women are. They have so many sides to them. Especially when we are independent and strong, people don't see our weak and vulnerable side. We don't like to show it, so they assume we are indestructible and maybe that we don't have feelings! But that could not be further from the truth!
