@underlined...Hmmm...the way the narrative is poised, so loaded against the male protagonist...I would say...there is very little scope...except in ways to show that she will be different from Nirmala, which means that unlike Nirmala who walked out Sumo wont...I doubt there is going to be any introspection for events that have all led to this impasse between the two. While we have a clear understanding of the downfall of Shravan...circumstances are being used to explain the follies of Sumo...thats my pet peeve., not that anyone cares.😆

Hi San

For whatever its worth,, I care. As you have said in your posts before, i watch this show to see the two protagonists make mistakes and grow together. If one makes all the mistakes and has to redeem himself, the love story loses its charm. And with the latest stunt that Shravan has been made to pull, this becomes a very real possibility. Before this it was still even between the two.

Having said that, I am not giving up yet. These CVs did not make either Adi or Nirmala "mahaan" (at least yet) and have not made Ramnath completely black yet. So i still have hope that they will still weave in some intrrospection for Sumo's actions too. Crossing my fingers!!

Hmmm...I was. 😆 But my sarcasm skills are not that great...😭

Though on second thoughts...we should not be too surprised if that scenario happens...😉 Everyone has already said Tum kitna aur giroge? 😕😕, maybe he will be required by TV land to atone for all such sins of omission and commission😆😆

Ohh i got your sarcasm, was just making sure😛, cause for me no Nirmala matters anymore.
Well i am preparing myself to see shravan "REDEEMING" himself in everyone's eyes to "RISE"🤢
why is it required for the male protagonist to fall so much and redeem himself .
I guess the rest of the story will show shravan making amends to sumo and nirmala and i might never get a sumo/nirmala redeemtion

Water...As in the running gentle water that quenches the fire in him..I meant Love..His for her and hers for him.😳

Wow! Soup, you make it sound so romantic.I was only thinking in terms redemption & repentance.

Yes, Humbistar was only in Shrav's head. Let him be tried for ThoughtCrime. 😆

well, i think we might still hope for nirmala realization(though now, i don't think anything will satisfy me), but i am quite sure we are not getting sumo's introspection to her actions , with the way things have taken a turn in past few episodes, all the introspection, apologies might lie only on Shravan.😔

I'm bit lost here. SHrav hasn't done anything to Nirmala. Why should he redeem himself in her eyes?
Waht has Sumo done?

CPing what'd written the other day elsewhere!
The major grouse I have with Shravan's behavior was the way in which he spoke to Aditya as if Sumo is some kind of commodity he can relish as and when the need requires. He very well knows Aditya for a s**t-shamer and he wanted to frustrate him to the hilt by saying Sumo and he have done the deed many times and that he's not getting a virginal bride as he desires. Aditya's living in the stone age, BUT was Shravan really trying to liberate Sumo from the clutches of a narrow-minded MCP? I think not, he was merely trying to one-up a pest like Adi and his good-for-nothing mother and in the process took his friendship with Sumo for a ride and THAT and only that was wrong on so many levels. IF we as audience also feel Sumo's character has been tarnished just because of the not-so-subtle insinuation by Shravan, then there's no difference between Adi and us.

You've likened Shravan's behavior to humbistar( 3 years hence, that shit's still haunting...what has cruel Khan done to us?!🤣) but I think it's much worse since it's coming from Shravan Malhotra, whose core has been disintegrated to a zillion shards by the ruthless CVs! BUT I am still banking on him to realize his impropriety( which was to speak at length on his imaginary dalliances with his bestie to her fiance out of SPITE ) and call out on Aditya's deplorable behavior stemming out of his pre-historic notions of piousness in women.. As an aside, how do people think SHRAVAN planted the seed of doubt in Aditya's mind and started the domino effect beats the bejesus out of me.

Ps: To hell with these losers, please tell me now you like my Atharv Sujata

Well, it's just a possibility, with the way cv's are going, they might end up justifying Nirmala and her actions and might find something to make Shravan apologize to her, though i doubt cv's would want to make Nirmala mahan, that time is long lost. But still, you never know🥱

As for Sumo, I would like her to introspect, for the start.

Don't loose hopes on shravan, please😭. I know what they did to this wonderful character with that one episode is horrible, but i still think his character is not totally ruined.
Can we please keep this hope in him.

@bold WHAT!!! How does what Shravan says or does, makes Aditaya commit such a heinous crime!!
Even if Shravan had not said what he said, Aditaya already had his misconceptions regarding shraman in his mind. And sumo clearly was not comfortable Aditaya touching her, so if not before marriage, couple of hours after marriage he would have assaulted her the same way, if she would have objected to Aditaya's advances. Sexual Assault is not something which can be triggered by someone's words or actions, it's the consequence of not getting proper treatment to a mentally sick person🤢.
