You have captured the essence of that scene so beautifully!

Their emotions were so heartfelt even without them uttering a single word. That's why i say EDKV is unique.

The whole episode last night took me back the friendship they have and how beautiful and precious that relationship is. Oh these two! The big day is nearing and it just sinking in that she is going to go away forever and it is breaking my heart. The way he couldn't even touch the mehendi showed how broken he is going to get.

Wonderful post...👏

What I saw in Shravan was a man trying his best to hold on to the last shards of his own understanding...what he found were instead the same shards revealing another picture...of a life he had spent with Sumo...whether in person or away from her...That life was slowly slipping away from him...and then Lalaji's words of them being friends again rocked his very existence...Lalaji drew a picture where the room would be there...but, Sumo will not be...

Lalaji painted a future where it was not filled with colours of rainbow...but, a land which is no better than a wasteland...where rains will no longer comfort or soothe (Ironic...that the most serene atmosphere for Shravan was when rains were falling and he told his greatest truth to his father)...

Though Lalaji was standing there giving him solace with his words and presence...what I saw was a man broken and lonely... losing the only dream he had ever nurtured in his life...His Sumo...

What was worse...it was he who had announced that friendship was khokli...hollow...

Shravan Malhotra probably at that instant would have given his very life to retrieve that khokli friendship

Namik was uber brilliant in that scene yesterday...he was those waves wanting to desperately to touch the shores of the land (to call out to his Sumo)..and his eyes pleaded with Sumo to not torture herself because of him...

Friendship was not khokli...it was what has made Shravan stand in front of the mirror and yet not see a reflection of himself...but...a ghostly presence of what could have been

Nith, Roshni, Poppins: that last line! Can't get over it!

What a heartwrenchingly beautiful episode! I was almost expecting Shravan to break down at the end of his conversation with Lalaji. Wished someone was there to give him a hug! How can one function with so much pain bottled inside them. No wonder Sumo is losing it now! The realization is sinking in rather fast now as D Day comes bounding round the corner. Her sacrifice for Naanu suddenly seems way more difficult as the wedding approaches and Aditya stakes his claim.
I think today was indeed a turning point for Shravan. Even more than Kamini's manipulations, it was Lalaji's heartfelt honest words that shook Shravan up. The foundation for what he says to Aditya tomorrow has been laid by Lalaji's words, Sumo's tears, her obvious hesitation, and Aditya's behavior toward Sumo. Shravan has never been able to watch from the sidelines when Sumo was in trouble. Even now, he won't.
