Well people first of all I want to tell that this post is no attempt to defend Shravan or prove Aditya as a worse and I VERY STRONGLY oppose any sort of manhandling of a woman by a man (or vice-a-versa) But reading a few views about how even Shravan manhandled Sumo (like Aditya is shown in OLV) I thought of giving my two cents about it...
Honestly most of us today soon after seeing the olv were pretty clear that this guy is the real MCP (Ofcourse until he decides to leave his mommy dearest much behind in being the next mahanta and tyaag ki moorat) but definately questions are being raised at our ML too being not any better for what he did to Sumo just a day or two ago. Well I feel despite the two scenarios being poles apart from one another (Shravan was drunk that night and he actually did not lock Sumo in a room and pushed her on a bed and pounced on her 🤢) I can still not say that Shravan was 0% wrong and Adi is 100% wrong.. But one thing which I feel that makes a lot of difference is Sumo's "CONSENT". Consent is the biggest C word here. That day Sumo despite being too wary of Shravan DID stand near to him hearing all his rants. She could sense that pain flickering through his eyes...when he spoke about him being always played upon by his dearest women. And the next day after the incident when Sumo confronted him her anger was mainly for him trying to intervene in her wedding preps and being extra goody despite him hating Adi/Nirmala with a vengeance. Nowhere (READ NOWHERE) did she show the slightest hint of being upset about him touching or forcing her. And I think thats mainly because even she knows that he can never even think to harm her in a physical or sexual way. That can probably be the end of the world for Shravan Malhotra. She know him a lot too much to understand that his intentions can never be malign for her or any girl.

And probably thats the reason when Adi manhandled her, Shravan was the first person to whom she ran to 😳 (Read despite her mama/nanu being there)...well thats the level of trust...the understanding.

PS Having said that all, I still feel what Shravan did cant be justified and I want him to realize his mistake and apologize royally.

Agree, there is lot of difference between what sharvan did and want Aditya was doing, thought we did not see the episode we can conclude that he was manhandling her..
Sharvan pulled her towards him, that day though sumo was not happy with his behavior, I felt she was not happy because of his words and not him holding her, she did not try to realize herself for him hold...
Her Aditya was forcing himself on her when she was uncomfortable with him holding her and she was trying to escape from his hold...
As you said the main difference is the C point CONSENT...
She gave consent to sharvan to hold her and not to Aditya...

Oh God!! I don't think Suman can bear any kind of physical intimacy with Adi even if it isn't man-handling... how could she accept for marriage?? Yes, she din't cry or yell when SHravan was man-handling her as she does trust him... I said that very day that she trusts him to such an extent that even though he sent a girl to his bedroom she could leave to her house believing that he wouldn't cross his limits...

I agree, Sumo has that level of conformability and trust with Shravan that she knows he would never do anything of that sort with her...and if we think about the number of times Shravan and Sumo have gotten close, she is okay with his closeness..she accepts it and without saying she gives him her consent. They have that level of understanding between them😳

Right and the guy can be plain creepy. The way he looks at Sumo itself never made me feel good about him. His gaze is always on her lips or her bare back or her waist. Aur ek apne hero hai...Jiska sabse bada shikwa ye hai ki Sumo ne help kyun nahin karne di 😆

@bold - Bingo! Even while holding her what all he wanted was to tell her his pain. His intention was not use her like Adi...And may be thats why even she couldn't sense any sort of risk or danger there.

This is the first time m reading that people r comparing Shravan and Adi's actions. There was so much difference in it. Shravan did dance with her forcefully but there wasn't any aggression. She was hurt by the way he was behaving and when he was saying all these things about women to her she did reply to him. She could c that it was his pain which was making him lash out and say such things. How he danced with her was nowhere in the equation.
Here Adi tried to force himself on her and she didn't even want to marry this guy in the first place, touching toh dooor ki baat hai..

Yes, suman was always ok with Sharvan getting close to her and Eve sharvan know how close he can get to her and she is comfortable with...she gave consent he never crossed the limits, to be Frank he was always much far from the limit line...

TRUST.
Sumo trusts Shravan with her life. Yes she was angry with him at that moment for behaving the way he did... But even then there was an understanding... she knew why he behaved the way he did... not for a moment did she panic.

She was hurting because he was hurting her with his words. But she knew why this was happening. And she did not like another woman being with him either.

What Shravan felt was passion... he took it out on his girl. I am not saying he is right but... at that moment there was no lust. His actions were triggered due to his fear of loss. Sumo knew him and also knew to handle him. But his words hurt her more that day than anything else.

Adi... he I think touched her with jealousy with harm in mind. I can't imagine him become positive anymore. No one can stoop this low even for doing a good. Not good.
