I agree that the charm is gone. there was so much potential. they didnt need to rush the romance part. they could have kept it at Shravan saying, no sumo i do trust you - as a friend, but for me to trust someone for a relationship is next to impossible, and they could have used that to see a budding romance. its strange how shraman oscilate between hate and love - beech mein to kuchh hai hi nahi. they could very well have shown shravan and suman as a team in all preekar wedding - really as a team (and shravan for a change, actually understanding and fighting for sumo sometimes, and for chachi the other - so he was trully stuck in between trying to make ends meet) and they could have shown this is when ramnath sees suman as a threat... this way we would get some romance too during a much wasted marriage sequence, and some stolen romance and may be even some flirtatiousness. They could have still brought in adi - and a jealousy track but all in good humor... the only issue would have been what power did Ramnath have then to "blackmail Suman" but honestly, they didnt need a blackmail track - they could have just shown him poison Shravan's mind and shown basic differences in their relationship and a minor (not major outburst) and eventually no games but Adi-Suman partnership and that becomes a bone of contention and begins "distancing" Shraman. Would have been more realistic and much more enjoyable.
