@Mary - I could read and re-read this a hundred time over! This is beautiful! I like how you enable sumo to have her head help up high and yet firmly set in the typical sharvan-suman world! Unlike story writers in our scheme of things - for whom an identity of a woman is always attached to a man.

Thank you so much! Your words mean so much to me. I just want a woman's life not to roam around the idea of who she will be married to. I had hoped this show would do that, but lately they have disappointed me a little.

This show (or any show on Indian TV) will never do it 😳 beacuse after all Tv shows are a reflection of the broder mind set of the society. Don;t you see how our Women Olympic champs are being reduced to being "beti-s"? we identify women with respect to their relations - not an individual accomplished human beings - in their own stand alone rights and glories.

please keep writing more - pretty please.
