I understand Shravan was frustrated, angry, and upset but I didnt like how he threw the food. Such a big paap, many people don't get to eat in this world..

Do you guys feel they did this for a reason, or it was just to show his anger?

I'm with you , I never waste any eatable not even water .
When Shravan threw the food , I just wanted to hit him to bring him to conscious state ,the reason he was in paint & he was hurt can't just justify the act.
But that symbolically showed how he want to destroy the happiness of Sumo which Aditya gave her .

I agree with u on throwing food , I don't like wasting food at all, living on my own made me realize that. I think food equals to sumos success and happiness as coking food is something she loves the most so destroying food throwing it shows that shravan wanna destroy her happiness .

The anger coming out in the open is a good thing in a way. If his wounds have to heal, the anger has to come out and it has. But what it will lead to . If this is the impact of her accepting PCT from Adithya, if she accepts the rishta something big is coming our way, that is for sure.

It was Symbolic... he showed he doesnt Care about her cooking ... something as important to her...the kadai had halwa if u noticed.. something that was his favorite...
tiffin throwing was the symbolic of PCT not being important to him anylonger..which is so close to her..
though it was sad...that they did it but it was just symbolic to show her he doesn't care! That's want he wants to show to her right now...
though we all know he just cares a bit too much!

It was just to show the level of his emotional outburst. I felt it added more impact to the scene.
I m strictly speaking from story's POV and not encouraging wasting of food or anything like that.
