For once a real true friendship is shown..where the friends interact the way we do in life and a big deal is not made everytime they talk, have physical contact or hold hands. The dialogues are nor forced and it just flows.

For once in an indian show the sanskari elements are less and a boy and girl are allowed to be friends with no questions asked.

For once in an Indian TV show, the girl is shown actually working. And I don't mean for a couple of episodes here and there. Sumo has been working through out. Her work is an integral part of who she is.

For once in an Indian soap, the wealthy male lead's wealth is not flaunted until the viewer goes 'yeh right' and has to constantly roll his or her eyes (that can be very painful!)

For once, no one schemes till they drop (either drop dead or drop out of the soap) - literally.

For once, too much is not made out of the differences in wealth. Yes, Kamini does highlight this, but it is done less subtly than in other soaps.

For once, in an Indian show, people dress normally. I mean Kamini does not wear spaghetti strap blouses and skimpy sari's.

For once in an Indian show, there are no extended families.

For once in an Indian show!

Ya absolutely there is no over drama in this show.. The show is very realistic.. Sets, people, Dressing, etc.. no mellow drama...

first time the characters are grey shaded and not black and white..
like mami and mausi.. mami was fully supporting sumo when she had accident and helps her when she was stuck with the masala issue...
but she becomes selfish for her kids happiness... and forgets her...
Mausi.. she takes her help for money but was there for her during her accident and also tried to act like her mother when she went out in the night to look for shravan
kamini though she is not happy with Preethi as daughter in law but she has accepted it and now doing all the rituals for her son...

👍🏼

For once in an Indian show we can feel the chemistry without Duppattas locking into watches, eyelocks etc...😆

For once in an Indian show, a triangle is handled well without any hidden agenda...(It seems like at least as of now)...😉
