Why do we keep going over the negatives? Let's celebrate everything positive -

For once in an Indian TV show, the girl is shown actually working. And I don't mean for a couple of episodes here and there. Sumo has been working through out. Her work is an integral part of who she is.

For once in an Indian soap, the wealthy male lead's wealth is not flaunted until the viewer goes 'yeh right' and has to constantly roll his or her eyes (that can be very painful!)

For once, no one schemes till they drop (either drop dead or drop out of the soap) - literally.

For once, too much is not made out of the differences in wealth. Yes, Kamini does highlight this, but it is done less subtly than in other soaps.

For once, in an Indian show, people dress normally. I mean Kamini does not wear spaghetti strap blouses and skimpy sari's.

For once in an Indian show, there are no extended families.

For once in an Indian show!

About the wealth things it's so true. Shravans wealth is never flaunted that I totally forgot he was rich. I have a question..was he already rich as a kid or teen or he got rich later on?

For once, all the characters dress normally
For once, they behave like normal persons, unnecessarily touching feet for blessings and saying non-stop sorries
For once, Normal houses with normal families who aren't over-sweet or too dark... the characters are somewhat greyish
For once, we get to see FL being responsible enough even with her own rules of life

Malhotra's had very bad days when rammy had no cases at hand. He then pushed Niru to work for the family. Tiwariji was the person who helped rammy in getting some cases which he won and his career rose gradually when Shravan was around teenage. I always wonder why Kamini acts like they were rich from the start when rammy was the one who made them rich and that was just a few years back.

For the first time in Indian television the creatives have actually tried to reach out to the audience and answer their questions. Really appreciate them for that !
