RAmu is a flawed person. Not necessarily bad.
He is very similar to Kameeney. She loves her kids but does not really look at what they want... she imposes her choices on them.

Same with Ramu. He loves Shrav and cunningly imposes his choices on him.

Ramu has a great deal of respect for Tiwariji. But... he is selfish and when anyones wish clashes with his... he would fight in a cunning way to have his goals met. Remember at the start of the Preekar wedding track, he instigated Kameeney to insult the family and Nanu as well. He could make Shravan do that this time... Ramu would never agree to let Shravan marry Sumo out of the goodness of his heart. He would need to be manipulated into it, the same way he manipulated Kameeney!!

Well he is not villain (except for Shravan and Sumo)

1) His love and respect for his mentor is genuine
2) His family unity is also important to him
3) His love for his is unconditional
4) He has groomed his nephew also so well

His problem in independent women and he has his ego coming on this point ..

Thats a bang on analysis!
