Much has been said and anaylzed about Shravan Malhotra and why he is the way he is.I would like to add a few points.Let us begin at the beginning of this week.Why did he not hug her back ?She was in his arms,it was everything he wanted and he doesn't hug her ?
Forget hugging, Shravan doesn't even want to touch her. His jealously is only a symptom, the disease is called insecurity. It is his personal demon, the one he has battled for 10 years now.

Shravan Malhotra has stopped fighting his demon for now, they are on the same side. That is why he can't believe that the "S" is Sumo's hand stands for Shravan. He wants to, but he can't. Shravan still thinks that Sumo is probably exploiting him for her personal reasons.Its not even about trust anymore.Its his basic instinct, to retain his sanity. Let us go back to the conversation on Anjali's terrace
"Kyonki jab koi apna saath chodtha hai to bohout takleef hoti hai"
"Nahi karta hoon main vishwaas kisi pe.I dont trust any body"
"Main phir se toot nahi sakta"
And even after he rescues her from the terrace, this is what he says.
"Tumhe kya laga, tumhare ye karne se kuch balad jayega ? Main tumpe barosa karne lagoonga ?"
He demands proof. Had she said something like "S stands for super man", he would have laughed it off and believed that it does indeed stand for him.
He who hasn't seen the the transformation of the caterpillar to the butterfly will not believe it. But should we question his love ? Not a chance. Remember this person loved the caterpillar when it was still a caterpillar ? I doubt we will find someone with a love as true, as pure and as innocent as that of Shravan just as we will not find someone who trusts as much as Sumo.
His anger is pent up inside. The way he spoke to Adithya about his mother, Adithya was taken aback. I doubt if he would ever open his mouth in front of Shravan again. The anger needs an outlet and the outlet is Sumo. Do you see him screaming, yelling or arguing with anyone else ? No. Sumo it is and Sumo it will be. Shakespeare helps us here.

And remember what Sumo said after he asked her that question.
"Shaayad"
The one word that has brought her to where she stands today. She trusts that Shravan loves her, but more importantly she trusts that she has managed to crack the wall that Shravan Malhotra has built around himself. The recent changes in Sumo's behaviour have made him patch the wall, it will be more difficult to crack it this time, let alone break it.
How can Sumo prove that she is the one for him ? That despite everything, they are indeed made for each other ? She will have to chose him, over everything else despite knowing his flaws, understanding that the insecurties and vulnerabilities cannot be cured over night but they need time to heal.

How true ! He will fight her, he will agrue with her but he will be there for her. He is flawed and she will have to accept him as he is. Didn't he 10 years back ? He will break down when the truth about Ramnath comes out and it scares me to think what Shravan would do if Sumo isn't with him. Hate marriage or no hate marriage,Sumo will have to stand by him.
Let us talk about Sumo for a bit now.She was rocking this week, where did she get her strength ? Wasn't she so troubled just last week. This Sumo who is capable of taking smart decisions like asking PCT employees , where was she when she had to chose thr ring for Pushkar ? How suddenly has she become so strong ? She wanted to display his name on her hands so that everyone could see.That is a big change. The phone call did it. When he says "Tum kabhi akheli nahi rahogi Sumo, I promise you that". How much courage can she derive from 2 lines of his ? When Sumo was faced with a choice, her family or Shravan, what did she do ? Did she chose Shravan ? No, why should she ? He was always hers. You gamble only on things you trust. She trusts that Shravan is hers and hers only that she chose to bet on him.
"Sumo ka Shravan and Shravan ki Sumo". And that one line "I promise you will not be alone" gave her proof. But Sumo is being tested. Both her dreams, PCT and Shravan will come true. But there are dark clouds in the sky. There may be a storm, but she will survive. To run, fall and to get up and run again... isn't that Suman Tiwari.
How beautifully she handled Adithya. We never see her beating around the bush, it is done in 2 minutes. Hats off to her! She can handle all this but can she handle Shravan going away from her ? I don't think so. That is her weakness, I am biased towards Sumo, so I will say her only weakness. How she plays her strengths to win over her weakness is what we will see in the next week. Atleast that is my expectation. After all the darkest hour of the day is just before dawn, isnt it ?
The concept that a girl has to be married so that she is safe is really retarted. I hope that CV's do not give us a the hate marriage becuase of Nanu's illness. But as most of you have predicted it does look like where we are going.
Let us trust the CVs the way Sumo trusts Shravan, blindly ! I hope they will not let us down.

P.S : I couldn't cover Shravan's jibes about Sumo's ego or Ramnath brainwashing etc. They have been discussed far too much already and it would make this post even longer 😛
