Part 3

Few days later Sumans boss Durinder Ghosla called her in the office. She sat down nervously thinking maybe she's fired. But it was good news she always needed more hours but this time her boss offered her to work at one customer's house as a waitress for one evening. Suman couldn't refuse the offer but when she found out it was for Shravan Malhotra her eyes widened surprised .Not that she was afraid of him but his cold attitude was hinting that he was not at all interested to even talk to her how was she suppose to work in his house for one evening? Then she thought it was probably a good occasion for her to apologize and make amends.

"Look Suman,I choose you to go because your one of our best employees .I want you to also help with the food arrangements as well serving it .He gave us a big order and good money please make sure he doesn't regrets our services!"

Suman nodded "Dont worry Sir ,I will give my hundred percent"

"Good, Mr.Shravan wants to meet you to discuss something for Friday Evening"

Suman got the address and stood in front of Malhotra Associates building. She saw Pushkar exchanging few talks as he directed her to Shravan office .Pushkar knew Suman was always picking on his brother when they were younger ,but thought maybe things were forgotten and they all moved on .But with Shravan attitude at the restaurant he knew it wasn't going to be easy .

Suman knocked on his office door taking a deep breath.She was feeling anxious thinking he might scream at her? She walked in after hearing his approval. HE was wearing a nice perfectly ironed chemise with a gray suite looking very handsome. She smiled lightly as he told her to sit down .There was a silence as he stared at her with his dark cold eyes.

"umm I was told that you wanted to meet me concerning your Friday Evening Party ."

Shravan got up getting to the point "I want you at my house at 3pm and want you gone by 12am because you will also have to stay to clean up at the end of the party"

Suman never worked that late but she agreed, Shravan gave her a contract stating the hours ,the pay ,the rules and consequences if the service wasn't to the mark! Suman read it carefully and signed it .Before walking out she looked at Shravan who was not interested in any small talks with her.

"Shravan ..I wanted to speak to you about something "

He gave an irked expression what is it?

"Im really sorry ...for everything I did to you in school."

Shravan looked on and took few steps closer to her "Sorry is not enough Miss Suman Tiwari . You always picked on me , humiliated me , embarrassed me ..You think I will forgive you so easily?"Suman got cautious as he closed the space between them with his tone becoming stern. She felt intimidated thinking about the worst scenarios in her head was he going to pick her up and throw her out the window? Get these stupid thoughts out your head Sumo! His muscular physique hovered over her, no way was she able to push him like in the past , she would probably bruise herself with the solid chiselled body he has now!

"I was probably a Nerdy skinny Shravan in the past that you loved to pick on , but Now I'm a rich Successful Lawyer who has the power to do anything ,even to put you behind bars" He smirked mockingly staring down "And look at you ..you have become a waitress who is struggling day and night too collect each each penny."

Suman put on a tough face "I have no regrets being a waitress and to make it clear I give my 100% in everything I do be it a big or a small job" She stared right back in his intense eyes

"You haven't changed at all your still the same arrogant ,selfish , insensitive girl I knew "

They were standing so close to each other realising an unknown tension rising between them .Few moments passed and he moved back "now get out my office!"

Suman couldn't believe how rude he was behaving, though clearly he was still resenting her .She opened the door then stopped hearing his voice

"And by the way Call me Mr. Shravan Malhotra because you will be working for me" He ordered

Suman already started regretting this as she walked out his office.

It was finally Friday and Suman packed her 2 white chemise just in case with black dress pants in her bag .

"Ok Preeta don't forget to give Mama her evening medication with a glass of Haldi Milk .And Nanu his calcium pills." Suman ordered before heading out the door giving her mom a kiss and taking Nanus blessings.

"I don't want any of your dessert at my party"

"Are you scared that they won't taste good?" She chuckled amused "Trust me Im not a bad cook, im sure everyone will love them! Here try one"She offered

Shravan didn't know why she was acting at ease with him

"I don't want to taste anything made from you is that understood? Now get these brownies out my face!"He ordered rudely

"Are you always this rude?"

"Only with people I detest" He answered curtly

"I said I was Ss.."he just walked out on her "Sorry .."she finished her sentence exasperating ,no matter how hard she tried to approach him he didn't seem to want to forgive her .

It was almost 6pm Suman climbed the stairs going in one of the rooms to change.She was facing the door while buttoning her opened shirt from the bottom. Just then Shravan walked in their eyes met for a second before he looked away awkwardly .She quickly turned around fastening her top buttons facing away .She felt her cheeks turning crimson pink .

Of course I do remember your ffs and mostly all scenes . These FFs were only saving grace after show ended and the pleasure is mine to read your stories 😃😃,so no question of support . I do love reading them.❤️❤️

Also its first show after CB that I have got obsessed with. Writers did had great hold on characters and scenes always .Every scene had its deep meaning and importance in the story that it never felt forced or out of place. Although marriage track is being little dragged ,may be due to nikita's health problems but on the whole its really a superb show. After Radev's FFs, Its shraman's ff I am reading and can imagine, so you can say ,me too obsessed😛😛

Is it Mohit Kumar jha ?? I was reading the names in EDKV and felt that he is the same . He was in CB2 also for some time .Isn't it ??
