I heard Preethi calling me and woke up from a deep sleep and felt much better. I closed my eyes for few seconds and felt his presence but alas it was not to be... I kept on looking around but I was alone...
Suddenly the door opened and Preethi entered and complained: Di you are still sleeping. Please get up fast.
So much of my shopping is pending and I need your help. Pushkar is coming. I want you to come with us.
I smiled at her, felt her happiness and felt sad that I am not able to spare time to be with her.
I declined and told her how much marriage related other works are present apart from shopping. She should go ahead and complete her shopping.
I looked at the time and realized it was 9 am. I was stunned and immediately got up and got ready.
While going out I noticed my memory box lying on the ground and immediately picked it up and kept it inside.
I went and checked with Preetha how was PCT work going on and why she did not call me.
She told me I needed the rest and she has made everything. And I can help in the packing the tiffins meanwhile she will make something for me.
I was busy packing when she got my breakfast and tea. She asked me if I was OK. I hugged her and thanked her for the concern and I said I was feeling really good and looked up and found him standing at the door.
He came and stood near me and asked Preetha to make tea for him and looked at me and asked: Sumo, are you coming for shopping with Preethi?
I was not expecting him to talk to me, looked at him expecting to shout at me or ignore me but he was calmly looking at me waiting for my answer.
I said No and told him I am very busy.
Preetha came with tea and told me that whatever work I have I can do on phone and I can go and help Preethi in her shopping.
I was going to say No when Shravan said its OK. Anyways I expected you to say No. No problems, I am sure you have told Preethi about the shopping budget.
I was asking you to come to make sure she doesn't overspend. Well then , bye. We will catch you later.
I was in dilemma and suddenly Mami came and demanded that I go with Preethi. well hell, I was stuck.
We left and Preethi went with Pushkar saying they will meet us at the venue.
Shravan asked if I am taking my car and I said yes and he smiled. He said great I can relax and you can drive.. Delhi traffic you know... how stressful it is...
I am so glad you know driving.. lets go..
I was really getting mad at him now... Here I am trying to avoid him... and ..Now he wants me to be a driver .I stopped and said my clutch is acting up...
I will go with him... and smiled happily.
He stopped .. looked at me and shrugged .. said OK...
strange...why do I feel that I have done what he wanted... no sumo you are imagining.. chill...

I got up and felt at peace...
Got ready and had my breakfast..

Asked Pushkar if he had any plans of meeting Preethi...
Pushkar looked at me with a sad face and said: No chance , no one will allow it...
I told him if I give him a whole day with Preethi what will I get..
He was overjoyed and said No way, not possible.. anything you want... but it is not possible...
I was smiling when dad, Kamini chachi, vandy bhabhi, varun bhaiya and Lalaji walked in...
I told Dad that nowadays its a trend for groom and bride to wear matching clothes and they go for shopping together to make sure they get it right..
Its a status thing and we need to maintain our status.. Chachi .. what do you say?
Chachi was not so enthusiatic until I told her that Ambani's have set this trend and everyone follows it...
even she need to go shopping with Lalaji...Vandy bhabhi jumped in and said I will also go with Varun.. it would be fun...
Pushkar was really confused.. How will he get time to spend with Preethi if the whole family is present..
hmmm ... I told Kamini chachi and Vandy bhabhi to checkout shops in Gurgaon and they readily agreed.
Pushkar agreed to pickup Preethi and get her there.
I got up to leave and dad asked what are my plans. He wanted me to look into few high profile client cases...I told him that I have to catch up with few of my school friends and personally invite them to Pushkar marriage...I will look into it in the evening..
Dad agreed and Pushkar followed me outside and said: Bhaiya, I have to share Preethi with everyone...
I was smiling and told him to puncture his car tyres and then shop in delhi with her.. or inform others you were stickk in traffic so decided to shop in delhi...
He was still not sure then I told him to say that Suman was with you guys and he agreed..
He called Preethi and started sharing the plan with her. I told Pushkar that Preethi should inform mami that chahci and vandy bhabhi have asked her for shopping and you are just picking her up. Also make sure Preethi invites Sumo...
We went to Tiwari Killa and as I entered I saw Sumo working... She looked better.. Yes her eyes were puffy but still I could see she was feeling better..
I knew she will ignore if I gave her importance so staright forward asked if she will join us.
She declined...
great ...think SHravan how to get her to agree.. I saw mami coming and it clicked ...ohhh yes budget...
So I mentioned about the budget and she started worrying ... well Mami saved the day.. she ordered Sumo to go with Preethi...
Great .. now to get her to go with you...
yes better let me go with her...
So I tried my stress and driver logic...
wow it worked... she wants to go in my car .. with me.. not bad...
I messaged Pushkar to goto Rajori garden for shopping and I will join them later... and not to mention to anyone that me and sumo are together.. He readily agreed.
She was standing near the door expecting me to open..
well... i was tempted.. but patience .. ignore it...
I went and sat in the driver seat.. made a sad face... and waited for her to sit...
well she is here lets go.. chill Shravan .. don't show her you won...
I changed the route and she told me I was taking the wrong route...
I asked her if she was OK I had some work in CP and it will take only 15- 20 minutes...
She agreed...
I asked her did she missed me 10 years back...
She said it was a long time back .. she doesn't remember...
I told her how I was very sad in london initially and how I used to cry myself to sleep...
How I used to miss her cooking... and talking to her...
yeah but later I got busy and then I was happy there...
I looked at her and found her listening to me intently...
she said: You missed my cooking...talks...
I told her.. actually I missed her...while eating, in class, while playing, while studying...
I remembered her so much... I used to take her name in my sleep too.
She was stunned and just kept on staring at me...
I asked her why didn't she write or call me...
And she kept silent...
I told her Initially I was angry with her but later when I had cooled down, I wrote thousand letters to her everyday in my mind, waited egarly for her letter... when any letter or call used to come I expected it to be from her... but was always disappointed...
after some time i stopped waiting for the letter or call and realized I was not important for her...
She had tears in her eyes... they started falling ... but she was still silent...
I stopped the car and looked at her, held her chin and asked her did you miss me Sumo...
After a long time she looked at me in eyes and said everyday, every minute and every second...
Then why didn't you write or call...
She said initially she did not have my address or number but when after six months she got it.. I never replied to her letters and they were returned back so she never called.
I smiled and told her .. it was pure bad luck... I had changed my address during that time and forgot to give dad the new address as we used to talk on phone...
I told her sorry for missing her letters... she told its ok and smiled like my sumo.
I wiped her tears and then looked at her... she was still smiling...
And I kissed her cheeks and started the car...

He kissed me... kissed me... no sumo.. he kissed your cheeks...
its a peck... ok but still he kissed me...
Now what we are kissing friends.. oh my god... what should I do...

Sumo: kissed me..

He stopped the car, removed his seat belt and held my shoulder and said I did not Kiss you...
But since you want me to kiss you I will oblige...
And then he kissed me on my lips...
I was in shock... now we are really kissing friends...
and then he held my face gently and kissed me properly... lip to lip... tongue to tongue...
I had closed my eyes and I could feel my heart beating rapidly, I was kissing him back...
I wanted to be close to him,, wanted to kiss him.. everyday.. every minute and every second...
I was not sure where we were and how much time passed... but I wanted the time to become still and wanted to just be in his arms..
I felt at peace.. happy.. ...
Sumo: Shravan what are you doing??
He said simply.. kissing you what else.. don't you like it??? I always wanted to kiss you.. so I am doing it...
