"Sumo are you out of your mind. Hum yaha sangeet karayenge?? " He said in a furious tone.
"Kyun kya kharabi hai is jagah me?? "She snapped
"Kharabi jagah me nahi tumhare dimag me hai. Hum yaha function nhi kara rhe hain and thats final. Ise chaho to tum ladke walon ki zid samjh lo." He said with a finality .
He had enough of her stubborn attitude. If wants she him to be rude then let it be.
"Ab chalo yaha se hum dusre hotel chal rhe hain. And i wont take a no." He said and dragged her holding hands.
A 5 star hotel was booked for the sangeet. Kamini chachi was very happy.
This wouldn't do. She looked away and broke free of his hold, immediately missing the warmth of his touch.
Shravan had had enough of her rejection. He dig his nails into his palms to keep from hitting the wall behind her. He grabbed her by her arms and pulled her close against him until nothing separated them.
"Why are you doing this Sumo?" he couldn't keep the anger bottled in anymore.
She flinched at the tone of his voice and bit down on her lips to control the wall of tears that formed behind her eyes.
Don't break, Sumo.
"Why am I doing what? Be specific." She said, forcing coldness into her voice.
"Specific? You want me to be specific?" He let go of her and stepped away. He took a deep breath , running a frustrated hand through his hair. "Why are you ignoring me? Why are you acting like we're strangers? Is that specific enough for you?"
Suman felt a blow to her heart with every word. She didn't mean to do any of this. She wanted nothing more than to make this all better. She just didn't know how.
"Why are you hurting me, Sumo?" he whispered.
Suman had never seen him look so hurt and vulnerable.
"I don't want to hurt you, Shravan." She couldn't hold back the tear that escaped her eye.
Shravan cupped her cheeks, looking directly into her broken eyes. "Please let me help you Sumo."
And she wanted to say it all to him. But the shackles holding her just kept getting tighter.
"I don't know how to do that." She said a small voice.
