I totally agree with you but(not to be rude) I feel that like the younger Shravan cared(not the proper-proper) for Sumo,like did her homework,carried her bags etc etc,so somewhere I feel he still has this thing that if he becomes extra sweet like the past she might not value him and treat him like she did before. Mittu.. you are right.. and that is why i said he hates his own younger version self that allowed him to be used by anyone. He needs to acknowledge that his younger version was not a poorer version than his present self. He needs to acknowledge his own past with all its failures and problems.

Yeah he fears rejection coz this time he wont be able to survive it. It took 10 yrs to build walls around his heart, sumo is gradually shattering it and this is what he is scared of. Concern, longing clearly reflected in his eyes. His restlessness hearing sumo unwell said it all. His rude behaviour is just to mask his real feelings. Sumo will heal his wounded heart and he will soon fall in love with her all over again
