Next morning Shravan leaves for Nagpur. After landing off he informs his parents and obviously Sumo.
Later he gets in the case.It was indeed a difficult one.
Meanwhile in Tiwari Killa Manju tells Suman to return home early from work today.
Kyun Mamiji?Koi kaam hain kya?
Ha, beta aisa hi samajh.Tu bas jaldi aajana.Baki badh mein bataungi.
Ji, mamiji.
Saying so Sumo left for PCT.
At 6pm, Suman came home and saw everybody busy in some kind of preparations. Being confused she asked Mausiji,"Mausi, koi mehman aane wale hein kya?"
Haa re pagli.Warna hum bekaar mein itne tum-jhum karte? Babuji aur hum sab ne milke Jo ladka pasand kiya tha na wohi log aane wale hain.Bhabi ne tujhe subha batayi thi na?Khair tu jaldi jaake tyaar ho le .WO log bas aate hi honge.
Suman was shocked to an understatement. Gathering herself, she went to mamiji and asked her, mamiji aapne mujhe pehle kyun nahi bataya rishte ki bare mein?Mujhe abhi shaadi nahi karni hain .
Isiliye tujhe nahi bataya,warna tu mana kar deti aur baat shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho jata.
Par mamiji...
Chup.Bilkul chup. Par war kuch nahi.Tujhe meri maamta ki swowgaan.Aaj agar Priya di hoti, kya tu phir bhi aise bolti?Mera chhod aapne nanu ke liye tu itna bhi nahi karegi?
Suman stood there silently with glistening eyes.
Ja ,ab tu tyaar ho ja.Mein preeti ko bhejti hu Teri madat karne me liye.
Ji ,Suman simply nodded.

It is 2at night now,but Suman hasn't slept yet.Seems sleep has evaded her eyes. She pressed the pillow harder against her chest.But that did not help her in any way. She saw Shravan s missed calls but was in no mood to talk to him or any one else.She just needed some space. She sighed and closed her eyes.And at once,the events of the fateful evening flashed before her eyes.
Flashback
Just at 8 pm, the ladkewale came.They were seated. Then Suman entered into the room with tea in hand.She greeted them,took their blessing and served them tea.
The boy Siddhrth was an MBA and was working currently in an MNC in Mumbai as manager. He was damn good looking and seemed to be civilized and well cultured.He was mesmerized at Suman's beauty and simplicity. Elders laughters brought him out of stance. He was hell embarrassed.
Manju was all praises for Suman.The suitors family liked Suman very much.They highly appreciated her independent ways of life, her hard working nature and obviously her great culinary skills. Siddhartha's parents even wanted to fix their alliance on the first sitting itself. Manju seemed to be very happy at this.
But Siddhartha interrupted saying "We are happy with this alliance. But Suman s consent is as necessary as mine.I think she still needs to know me more and requires time to ponder over this. We shouldn't rush.After all its a life long decision.If u all don't mind , can we go out for lunch tomorrow? It will help us to explore each other s perspective
Tiwariji was impressed with him,he happily agreed. But manjus face fell.
Preeti whispered, kya di, aapki to kismaat khul gay! Banda dashing hain , rich bhi.Upar se dilwala bhi lag rahaa hain.
Manna padega!
Suman s glare stopped her.
Finally the suitor's family left their house.
In Nagpur Shravan was also awake. Though he was tired and everything went smooth, something was a miss-Sumos
bickering and her stupid antics. Actually not stupid rather cute antics-he thought smiling. He wondered why she hasn't even called him once.She might be busy, he thought and drifted into slumber thinking about Sumo ,his Sumo, his best friend forever.
