this is a creative medium & one has to leave room for some creative leeway ...

the bigger essence of the scene needs to be deciphered ... why show the scene .. why is the past imp .. since this is not a social drama .. the mom & pop past .. is simply a way to connect the young lovers ... so why is it important ...

where does this leave shravan sumo ... well the first 50 episodes was about Sumo getting her comeuppance .. some of that has to happen for Shravan as well 😉

well knowing the telly industry it looked like a production error ... anyways .. these r small glitches ... the next scene is when shravan comes & sits with his dad .. thats once again their smaller home ..

but these r not important from the story pov .. so one gives it leeway 😉😆

Go back to the episode .. & the scene where the FBs are played out ... the last one ...in the whole recreation of the past of his FAMILY .. there is an interesting add on ... THAT IS >>>SHRAVAN & SUMO past .. the way she ragged him out at school ...

The past is a break up of a family ..
The past is a break up of beliefs ...
The past is a break up of Trust ...
The past is a break up of reverence ...

and above all .. The PAST is a break up of LOVE & HEART ...

That day not only his present was ruined ...but his future as he envisaged was ruined as well ...

Another reason to bring up the FB of Sumo .. was ... just like in the case of the SUMO rag .. Shravan saw things through his eyes ...BLIND to WHY Sumo did what she did ..
He did not wait to FIND OUT why ????

But when he had that convo with her in her parents old home .. he realises ... every one is FALLIBLE .. SUMO had her own demons which she was battling ... & that she was way to young to understand the depth of devastation her one misdeed caused ...

Similarly ... with his mOm .. he did not get the chance to hear her side of things ...nor was he able to meet with her .. Since he was sent to London immediately ...

Thats the reason an entire episode was dedicated to the past ..

A new actor seems to have been introduced the ghost of whom we had been seeing since the beginning .. the MOTHER ...

Why this track .. its the biggest hurdle to the love story ... coz Love for Shravan .. is something which can break .. something which does not LAST ... its extremely important to realise the last statement .. he does not think love can LAST ... the awakening this time as well has to be from within ...

The battle for love begins ... to many sub tracks will open up now ... but i had written once a while back .. each & every character is in this show to play cupid ... so while love is mushy .. there is also a bitter sweet side of it ... Shravan has had his share of bitter sweet ..when he felt his innocent love was not returned .. mayhap ... turnabout is fair play

@Mom leaving flashback seen earlier clearly shows mom left and there were quarrels between his parents and Sumo was his punching bag.

@Chachiji's talks... Ramnath was not well to do and Lalaji helped

@Ramnath an MCP was shown when he tells Nanu that women should not work

@Shravan an MCP... party and so many other episodes and his behavior with PP.,

The one thing that came out new was Ramnath thinking that his wife was two timing him.

They could have shown the flash back silently, fast and with back ground music. I found todays epi to be a super damp squid. Especially all the flashbacks and ramnath himself. Sometimes a charecter that seems to be going no where in itself is a big irritation. This is Ramnath.

Sorry about the strong opinion. But today was an epi that seriously put me off for the first time with EDKV.

I didnt notice that Red.. but, yes, Shravan has to face his demons head on.. which would mean problems for Sumo as well...😆

Seems like its heading towards Shravan and Sumo's marriage track

a long car is called a sedan ... a decade back we had Toyota Corolla .. Toyota Camry... Skoda Octavia .. Maruti baleno .. Ford Mondeo ... Ford Ikon .. Hyundai Accent .. Hyundai Sonata .. etc etc etc .. Ambassador as well ...

the mistake / error in the scene was the house .. when shravan enters with his winners cup .. thats the glitch ... coz they showed the same entry way as the current house . where as the rest of the FB they emphasised on a smaller house ...😳

No, by the time he wins that trophy they had money. He left for London right after you see. I guess Sumon has mostly seen him as well off ( since they became friends). Probably till eighth grade his father was struggling and the case happened and he hit good luck. Remember how shravan writes Sumon that dad wants him to go to London for last two years and he has been saying no??

@Red... My daughter was on my lap when I was keying that one... That means Lalaji is pretty rich.

Yes all those sedans were there... but not many people were owning it. Definitely not middleclass folks. We are talking about 2005... is that not the period when economic boom really started?

Okay seriously i am SICK .. its gone 2 am in my land & i am discussing a 22min fiction show .. UGH

What is the one thing that came out from this episode that which we dint know .. is very simple ...

its in the FB ...

i wrote above ... why was sumo shravan FB added to that of shravan's mom FB ...

Its .. cause the reason of his strong feeling of betrayal from his mom ..

Now think about it ..let reconstruct the past ...

He learns from his father that his mom has left them & gone ( i thot the adultery notion was a given & kind of always implied) ...

He runs to SUMO ... there he tells her ... my mother has gone somewhere & we are unable to find her ...

then the next day the father son duo go looking for his mom in her office & see her being consoled by her boss ...

Next thing .. he leaves for LONDON

now give it a thot ... connect all this ... why SUMO is in the mix ...why was the prom party so imp .. where Sumo ditches him to go with SOMEONE ELSE

Shravan was not willing to go to London if sumo accepted his love ...

So its Sumo's rejection of him . which makes him go .. he believes his fathers heart is broken .. & his mother no longer loves his father .. coz he was a thwarted lover ...

now see the scene when sumo calls him about her marriage .. there is a very long pregnant pause .. then he erupts .. his face falls when she says she is getting married ...

The emotions he has for SUMO is all there ... but it buried under a mountain of his past ... for him to come out & once again declare his love .. he needs to be clear of his past ...

He needs to believe ..

This story is about SUMAN TIWARI ... she will be in the middle of every thing ...

This story is also a love story .. hence all the characters & tracks will revolve round the main protagonists ..

UGH rest for tomorrow literally falling asleep on the laptop ...
