Love is a journey not a destination! Shravan and Suman have a journey to love and that is the one we are on with them! Let's enjoy it! I for one am very happy with where they are at, and want to enjoy their journey to ending up as a couple. I love how this show is so realistic. This is how things happen in real life.
I said this in another post. My husband and I had our share of dramas and misunderstandings as well. But the truth was we both really liked the other. Or as my husband said one time "I always dug you!" Lol.
Our relationship took more than 3 years in the making, but maybe because of that we were really sure that it was meant to be. We lived in different cities and then even different countries for awhile. But it still happened coz it was meant to happen. Just like it will for Shravan and Suman coz they are "EK Duje Ke Vasste!"
On an analytical note, just wanted to say that it's clear Shravan is just not at that head space where he wants to explore what Suman means to him beyond a friend. Even the teenage Shravan didn't say "I love you Sumo" in his letter. He just knew he wanted to be where she was. "Is this love? I don't know". That is what teenage Shravan said. But then something happened in his life that changed everything. From that point he resented Suman, and her memories became tainted with that resentment. He took revenge, but was still not able to leave that connection behind. He finally accepts "Kuch Hai Hamare Beech". But what is it? Just before that can be explored further, he has to make the call to leave.
This is where everything gets complicated. He won't stay for Suman, coz he feels him going will resolve the issues in his family. Mostly coz keeping the family together means a lot to his Father. He seems misguided in his actions at the moment, but he means well. He is actually a pretty emotional guy and knee jerk responses are common for him. Staying back for Tiwari case was one, going back to avoid family drama is one, and what will be the next? Let's wait and watch shall we?
