.So.. he wondered ten years back if the deep affection he felt for his best friend was love...He was just a kid then..Like Sumo said, she was just a bachhi ten years back..so he was just a bachha too.

Ten years in London...when he found a new himself...made new friends...did well personally and professionally and learned to look down on the girl who had betrayed him as a FRIEND (had she turned him down as a lover, he would have accepted it...but the way she turned down his friendship..that hurt the most)...

One fine day back home...he came back only for his dad..it was to be a temporary visit..no intention of settling any score..but he felt she needed to be taught a lesson..so he did.

A few more interactions..and he learned she was not at all who he had preferred to remember her as...for the first time, she shared who she was..and he truly appreciated it, as a friend...it was an honour to him that she could share this part of her with him...his FRIENDSHIP had been honoured.

What came next was a huge relief that the most cherished relationship of his life had been cleansed..he felt like he was freed of a deep agony.

His further responses were going back to living that childhood he had lost out on...be it teasing her...which sometimes bordered on flirting.

But a lot had changed in ten years...Shravan must have made up his mind against ever falling for a girl again, after suffering rejection from his mother and his best friend..

..As a result, he would always cherish his friends...but probably never let anyone have the power to hurt him again.

He doesn't realise what Suman feels for him...or even if he has a hint of it, he can casually call it an infatuation on her side...something that wouldn't last, like his hadn't...

What matters to him the most is that she is his friend..the one he can shout at.. boss over...get pampered by...and give his life for...But she is just a friend...

Why?

Is he afraid of rejection? At this point, I doubt it...Shravan is confident about his popularity...I feel it is more like he really has not dwelt on the possibility of starting a relationship with her OR anyone...After all, he was just here to enjoy a holiday...reconnect with his family and friends'...and best friend...and he always knew he would have to go back one day...Where was Sumo's place in his life in London?

If so, why does he flirt...he loves every moment he shares with her...at times it transcends the borders of an ordinary friendship...but that is what Sumo means to him....there are no taboos when it comes to her... not even the restrictions he keeps with Pushkar and his dad, hiding the real reason for his departure...She is in every sense his soul mate...that is all he is looking for, now. For the rest that is to follow..let him take his time😳...just like Suman took ten years...😉

It really does help. Thank you for clearing my confusion as well. After actually watching the episode I am totally cool with them being just friend. Now want to enjoy the journey as end is known- they will be together.

We.could have brushed off.his childhood feelings for sumo as infatutation if he didnt.react the way he did.with varma or gogol.. The guy even got jealous of a.person like gogol who in no way is a competition for him.. Right.now no other.guy is in.sumo's.life(except pushkar but he is not a problem). Tge.moment some other.guy comes.close.to.sumo shravan's real feelings will resurface. Even after coming back sumo's each word affected him.. If his feelings werent that strong.she wont have affected him so much... The.guy used to stalk sumo on fb and waited for a.sorry.from her.. If he moved on and sumo had no.place in his london life he.wont have been.doing that..

I dont think guys flirt with girls.who they consider.to be friends and are in the friendzone... Shravan flirts with sumo alot that too intensely... In the kitchen he aimed for her.lips and.closed his eyes... No friend does that to another friend...

Shravan was 17 when.he started having feelings for sumo and.he.was.way matured.for.his.age unlike sumo.who was a little.immature for her age... So basically he wasnt a kid...

17 yrs back, he was doubtful..but he was Ok if she rejected him as a lover...over ten years, he did nothing to nurture that love...neither did she...so when she came back, all he can think of is what they shared so easily...friendship.
