Since a lot of you wanted a second part with a happy-ish ending, I'm going to try.
Hope it is fine. This is solely due to multiple requests.
P.S. I suck at doing two shots, so please be a little sweet with me even if this part is shitty

So as promised, this is the one from Shravan's POV.

I'm sorry if it sucks, I'm not too great at more than one shot.

Basically, he is going to go to London after 3 months of ruthlessly breaking her heart, but he cannot get himself to go. He ends up outside her house from where this story begins.

Hope you like it. Dont forget to comment and let your opinions show, I am open to constructive feedback!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite the warm atmosphere, I wait outside the greying brick apartment, certain to catch up on her. She comes around the corner at half past eight and when her eyes flare at the sight of me, I know it isn't a good sign.

"Woah," she replies, agitation evident. "What are you doing here? London didn't want you back?"

Although I admire her lighthearted tone to try to hide everything she means to say, I don't comment on it. "No."

"What do you want, Shravan?" she asks, tone shifting.

"I wanted to apologize. I... I never gave you the chance to explain."

"I don't think I need to," she answers frankly. "Anymore, at least."

My breath leaves smoke in the air. "Why?"

"Look, Shravan," she begins, digging her hands further into her kurta pockets to occupy herself. "What we had as children was fun. But you were right. It never went any deeper than that."

I swallow. More than disappointment is apparent on my face. My voice, becoming thick and heavy slices through the cold air between us. "No. I was not. What I did was really wrong for you."

Her throat strains and for some awfully stupid reason, it's getting really freaking difficult for me to look in her eyes. "What do you want from me? For me to admit that I messed up? Because I did. I messed up real bad. I'm a loser with zero self-respect, okay? Is that what you wanted to hear? Or did you want this: that getting to know you, that being with you, that wanting to be called yours wasn't just the best part of my life. It was the best thing I've ever experienced."

"I always deserved the truth," I say, and I watch as tears fill her waterline. I keep this hard, despite it being the most strenuous task to do while knowing this is the first time I've ever seen her cry so badly.

"I know," she breathes, unable to project her voice. "I know."

We're still standing by her door, our only source of illumination being the lamp post a few feet away from where I'd been standing. I wait for her to recollect herself, phased by the sight of her in this state.

"It's not something I'm proud of. It's not something I wanted you to ever know about me. It was in the past. You and I...are in the past. I acted as if pasts didn't matter, as if the only thing that mattered was the now, the present, the future. But it does." "I didn't think you would have cared so much about that stupid past. I wouldn't have wanted you to. I never asked about yours for 10 years. I treated it like it wasn't my business. And this wasn't yours."

"I""

"I'm sorry that I hurt you," she tries to smile in a bittersweet way but the moment she does, another tear rolls down her dusty-pink cheek. The gesture is bittersweet in itself. "I messed up a friendship and I ruined what we had. So much for just trashing this place, huh?" She starts to sob mid-smile and my first and primary instinct is to approach her and pull her into me. So I do, gently calming her body's uncontrollable trembling. Things are going to fine soon. I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused you. But now I'm here to stay..for now and forever.
