United we stand divided we fall...
Thats what sharavan has grown up with and I think somewhere his father is at fault to install all this in his mind that family comes first and you and your emotions they take last seat.

He loves the idea of having a family which he lacks and that desire keeps him from being the selfish one ... It is ok to be that once in a while.

The nice guy needs to get everything this time and I hope he does..

Very well written. Shravan just wanted to be a part of his family, just wanted to be accepted and loved.
That is why the Tiwaris hold so much meaning to him, he felt something there he could not feel at his own place.
Kaameni needs a slap in the face tbh.

The writers as a character has build Shravan so convincingly, so realistically. He has f ears and insecurities and his personality is not build up on that "one single major incident" ten years ago.
He has learned to live, yet his past weighs him down.

I was waiting for someone to make a post on this particular scene. The longing portrayed by Shravan is just heartbreaking.

Edit:- I just saw fero's hashtag and did not know it was your birthday, so Happy Belated BirthdayšŸ˜†

Yess,.. he does want to be part of the family,.. though he might dil se love his family there is some sense within him which is stopping him from sharing the same bond with chachi's which he has with Tiwaris .A relation of out "expectation" or obligation ,..is something which will not have the connection of emotions .. the bond which he has with tiwaris is not out any obligation it's out of choice hence the bond is more endearing and he feels home

@bold very true ...his personality has been built up over years and though he might have changed in appearance and style and looks.. at the core.. he is still the very same Shravan malhotra.. a bit more mature, more grounded and more understanding !! it was indeed heartbreaking..couldn't get that scene out of mind hence this write up !!

Thanks for the wishes hugz*

@orion23 : Thank you :)

@Fero, thanks for the wishes šŸ¤—

@noexcuse : It was indeed heartbreaking to see him in the bg and out of focus and so desolate .. all by himself !!

Thank you for drawing my attention to that moment

Yes, you're right! Sadly, he is there for everyone but not in the forefront. He is there, but actually not...

Perfect writing... Truly said!šŸ‘
Awww
How would I love Shravan to sometimes be like those self centred heroes who don't stop making others realise that they are HERE.
I could see that pain there...😭

sh

that's the thing,.. he is there but still not there .. yet again he is there .. though not in words or on the forefront.. he is there in thoughts and actions .. he does what he has to do ...at that moment.. to keep the family intact,.. he will have to let go off the very same family which inflicted him.Thank you !!

Ur each n every word holds such honesty which does justice with shravan's character...I perfectly agree with u that chachi isn't a vamp but a very realistic character..anjali mam nailed it..I love shravan's compassion his selfless love for his family n friends.. He is a character which is hard to find in real world, a true gem..Awesome post šŸ‘

Thank you sapphire, yess... this I see as perspective which Shravan pointed out... from our side she is wrong.. but from her side she is just fighting for her son,,. right or wrong doesn't matter in love.. one has to accept the other with flaws which Shravan is doing .. but Pushkar has different thoughts.. love or not .. right is right and wrong is wrong .. again both Shravan and Pushkar are right in their own arguments !! Me too his selfless love and compassion is something which is indescribable !! very true such characters don't exist in real world .

Beautifully written.šŸ‘

That selfie moment perfectly captured the family dynamic - Shravan's an outsider in his own home.

I can't wait for the day he gets all the unconditional love that he deserves.

waiting for that day .. when he gets all that he deserved .. yess.. he is an outsider in his own family... he is desolate even when surrounded by his family .

@mineforever : thank you !!

Very nice post.

But the funny part is Sumo is also lonely in Tiwari house. Mami is not as bad as Chachi but still Mami and Mausi were ready to go their separate ways. Mami never used to leave any chance to put down Sumo or work get done by her.

These two are lonely inspite of Shravan having Ramnath and Sumo having Nanaji. It is their work which keeps them sane and their childhood memories.

Very true @bold... both are lonely but they have their friendship, their childhood memories which is keeping them together.. it's beautiful how to lone kids come together, become best of the friends .. so much so that 10 years of pain, separation, misunderstanding, anger were erased swiftly ...and the very old friendship is back without any trace of separation lingering..

agree there on maami and chachi !! Thank you :)

@s.sayra : Thanks.. the makers shot the scene well... it was subtle to see but a very poignant scene which has a different tale to it

yeah you are right.. at times one can be selfish ...but the way shravan's character has shaped up over the years . he can never be selfish .. and I don't hold Ramnath to be blamed for "family first" from what I understand Shravan always yearned to have family and when you are devoid of something precious in life ... you wouldn't let that happen to others .. that is why shravan will the first one to keep Chahchi's family or Tiwari's family intact !!

"Shravan's compassion, his love, his regards, how dearly he holds his family and friends, his warmth, his friendship, his affection is all bundled up into shaping his character, which is layered by his confidence, charm, success, intelligence, style and suave !!

Now his life, is like a unsolved rubik cube... he will sort it ...Great writingāļø..., I have nothing against chachi, such characters are seen in every house in real life,, quite natural... but what we don't see is a character like ShravanšŸ‘šŸ‘ !!"

So so well said!! What a beautiful analysis of a beautiful character!😳
