The character as written by the cv's is okay but the actress does need to improve.
I dont think that they had any interactions in the past, because all Pushkar seems to be quite close with only Suman in the Tiwari family..

Her character maybe.on.papers written as bubble but when.it.is portrayed onscreen looks artificial and irritating... The.cvs are.trying to make her look like kareena kapoor from jab we.met but its not working... Even chachi.and Maami.with their selfishness is very much convincing and looks real.. Vandy is shown as a bimbp.and a bit.selfish but she is likable preeti.on the other hamd is not.. She was first shown as a good for nothing kind.of character who was.pampered and spoiled by her mother amd.all of a sudden.out.of.blue she is shown as a bubble happy go lucky character which is hard.to digest... MaamI is sometimes shown as a selfish, irritating woman and sometimes as a normal caring.Maami towards suman... We understand her character in both the ways coz her character is written well and the actor portrays it well... Its not the case with preeti.. Both writing and acting falls flat...

Pushkar maynot be as close to the tiwaris.as shravan but he definitely is close.to them.. The way he was comfortable at the preeti-bhoj shows that...

ok this is what i know of preeti .. she is in college maybe studying cosmetology and is into music and likes learning new things ( she was learnig Chinese and nail art )

she is self indulgent .. likes to b comfortable ..

little pampered .. . maybe doesnt really think beyond herself ... likes to enjoy life.. loves her big sis ( her reaction when sumo was late to drop them off was ok she really wanted to go to US , maybe was her first trip so was disappointed in suman like her mom ) ..

i dont think she is dumb or unambitious .. she is just in her own world living with rosy colored glasses .. she has not seen any trouble in her life

these things look ok on paper and she is like a blank sheet paper , just actress need play it better ... and cvs didnt give much depth to her character

whether or not she can switch sides we dont know ..

whereas the Pushkar is already our fav , he is very sorted ,sweet and smart .. he understands ppl .. actor playing it has really given the chracter some depth .. so we understand him ..

but pushkar lacks a little confidence ( his reaction to ramnath and his difficulty in finding a date for reunion ) , he likes to remain in background , he is youngest so doesnt think he has a say in big matters( he didnt really say much during varun kandh,) .. and doesnt live beyond court and house ..

i think both characters can learn something from each other .. preeti to see beyond herself and pushkar to enjoy life and live a little ..

if cvs wants them to happen so it will ... i am cautiously optimistic😳

i dont agree with one point tht is preeti and pushkar were friends .. there have been no indication of ths

for tht matter and there seems to be no indication tht shravan too had any interraction with preeti while growing up .. they were just acquaintances .. they just knew each other thru sumo.. i dont think pushkar used to hang out at tiwari killa like shravan .. or pushkar visited the house as an adult either .. sumo goes to malhotras often and has dealing with pushkar for her nanu stuff ..

i truly believe this is first few times they r really hanging out with each other ..

others things like if preeti deserves pushkar or r they right for each other are ur opinions👍🏼

May b not like Shravan but puskar is used to becoz I remembered after reunion nite puskar called sumo n sumo asked him to come over for hangout ..cvs don't give any scene on them but it implies very much that puskar n suman hv Good terms. And all these years puskar doesn't try or hs anything to Preeti .. For me it is random...I can't expect anything from this Jodi 😛 ..that's totally my personal choice may b the actress don't know but I don't njoy their scenes ..

Thanks for making this topic ! See, Preeti was okay-ish as a character at first..but lately now i have a problem with the character for two reasons.

1. This Pushkar-Preeti relationship seems to getting pushed for no reason. If Pushkar and Preeti are suppose to be a couple..then why are their relationship being developed in the right way ? That is a fault i see in the writing.

2. The actress herself is not up to par..specially in the Pushkar-Preeti scenes. Ranjit is a really good actor and he makes his character look very natural but the actress playing Preeti seems fake..or she is overdoing her acting. There is a problem with her acting and hence my connect with her character or the Pushkar-Preeti scenes is just not happening.

From the beginning of the show we saw preeti as a side character. Daboo actually had more screenspace than her. First impression is the last. She was quite selfish in the beginning where as we could feel pushkar being the parallel lead as he had great screenspace like earlier we were thinking of love triangle with suman shravan pushkar. But all of a sudden showing too much preeti is not acceptable

She is now showed to be really good person which is not going well with what they showed earlier

Preeti suman development is ok

Preeti pushkar development is not ok

And in their scenes its like ranjit giving all the efforts. Its nothing from her side.

The actress is cute agree thats the only plus point.

Nevertheless i wish they change the actress coz it looks like pushti or preekar it is.

I felt that Pushkar seemed younger than Preeti which makes them kinda incompatible.

LOL, NO. I am okay with Preeti for Pushkar as long as the actress improves, but I don't want any parallel lead cutting into the screen space or the charm of ShraMan.

Lol yes, her character was shown to be someone shallow, since start, lost in own little dreamworld, suddenly this happy bunny act n life class lessons don't sit well .

And agree with you, cos no one is dhoodh ka dhula,selfless in real world. People are selfish, materialistic , and they also fall in love.that's why I don't have problem with the character as such but with the actor.Thankfully, I thought it was just me but many are feeling the same.

I think preeti pushkar relationship is shown for the story to move forward.
Preeti is very selfish now also. See how she refused her mother to go with chachi to some shop for nail art class. Then pushkar calls and she decides not to go to her class for pushkar.
I think they will fall in love along with suman and shravan. Then kameeni chachi will tell sumans chachi that if u want ur daughter to be married to my son plz tell suman to stay away from shravan. Maybe then preeti and chachi will emotionally blackmail suman and suman will agree.
