OK so now that I am more calm & composed after watching the episode like god knows how many times, I absolutely needed to let it all out AND JUST TALK ABOUT HOW FREAKING REAL & BEAUTIFUL THE EPISODE WAS. There was a very rajshri feeling to this episode, but I love how ShraMan & the characters made it their own by staying in their character..and just going with the flow & not presenting a sudden sugar-coated episode which was cute but kuch bhi ainvayi. NOTHING IN THIS SHOW IS KUCH BHI AINVAYI. NOT EVEN KAMEENI.😊

ShraMan's phone conversation - I love how Suman ran to answer the phone & totally blurted it out in the moment of excitement & joy at his phone call that she was thinking about him. How realistic. And it was so so Suman.. bechari! I always feel second hand embarrassment for her😆

And thank you CVs! I so wanted Shravan asking Suman to make something special for him because he loved eating her food. The haq with which he asked her & she replied with a I'll cook whatever you want to eat..and his reply something I've not eaten in a decade. They were totally acting like husband/wife with husband calling up from work & being like I am so tired, make me something special ❤️

I just love how they were totally building up for some high moment that is going to happen in the terrace, right from there with the whole reference to making something special that I haven't had in 10 years.. like its a special night..And again it wasn't awkward even though I found the line rather romantic & intimate in an understated way, rather it was so normal like 2 best friends inviting each other home after a long time. It was just so so sweet, because really they bring each other alive. Suman cooks everyday & Shravan eats everyday, despite that there is so much excitement to having a meal together. Cooking for Shravan gave Suman so much joy..the glow on her face in the kitchen was so obvious. And same for Shravan.. the first thing he noticed when he reached her place was the kitchen. He couldn't see her, but he knew she was there..like it was almost deja vu, because they used to be bickering in the kitchen together a decade back, with her cooking & him teasing her about being fat.😳

And the kitchen scene. AHHH! SO MANY FEELS. The way she was just humming while peesing that thing (i forgot what its called😆 is it elaichi?) & he came.. and stood there. Observing her, & looking at the food. And she felt this tower standing behind her, not because of the wind or some supernatural ability to feel each other from a distance, but because he was so close

And with that added sense of familiarity, he asked her about the sabzi. And she turned, all nervous, & in such an intimate way told him that 'aisa ho sakta hai ki tumhe kuch pasand ho aur main na banau'.. you could almost see him melt for a split second. I LOVE HOW THE CVs just keep emphasizing how deep their bond is..it wasn't just a simple friendship they shared. They were each other's companions. They were together not just because they needed each other, but because they liked each other as well. The way they knew & still know each other, no one knows. The shot where both of them in one frame right before he leans in... they were both smiling. It was almost naughty, & flirty. And there he moved in, it was so smooth. And AWWW Suman closed her eyes. SHE WAS TOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT! She calls him fattu just as a cover, she doesn't mean it. Deep down she knows he is total hero material, from top to bottom.😆

AND THAT MUSIC WHEN HE SAYS 10PM CHAJJE PAR.. AND HER EYES WIDEN. OH CVs, take a bow!! It was like seductive in such an adorable way. AND DAMN HIS SWAG, LIKE THE WAY HE TOOK THE ALMONDS, & STARED AT HER, LOOKING HER IN THE EYE & ATE THE ALMONDS.. ALMOST ALLUDING TO HIM EATING HER. Suman totally got the hint & she was trembling😆

AND HE WALKED AWAY WITH A SMILE HAYEEE.. I am sure given the smart sexy beast he is, he caught on.

AND THE BITS WHEN SHE SERVED HIM FOOD. I LOVED HOW HE SMILED AT HER..AND the ladoo scene. Absolutely my favourite. The way he teased her so openly, & she could just call him bhukkad infront of everybody. I just love how it was such an inside joke between them & they had no inhibitions in just being the way they are infront of both of the families. They even laughed & enjoyed it. Even chachi laughed. Such a subtle progressive way of showing that a man & woman can be friends (even though they aren't just friends) & there is nothing wrong with it. SPECIAL MENTION FOR THAT ADORABLE FACE SHRAVAN MADE AS SUMAN SMILED. IT WAS JUST SO CUTE. SOMEONE PLEASE GIF it. And Nanu teasing them.. was just so so adorable. Its these small things that the show does that make it so realistic. It really felt like family friends were meeting😳

AND THE WAY THEY WERE COMMUNICATING WITH EACH OTHER THROUGH THEIR EYES IN A ROOM FULL OF LAUGHTER & LOUD CONVERSATIONS... the way he looked at her smile, the way they both were so excited & anticipating the chajja romance & the way she just let go of all inhibitions.. and texted him with a 'main aa rahi hoon' as though she willing to let out all her heart's desires today. And the way he smiled at her text

And the chandni raat.. hayee what a beautiful view <3

ShraMan were absolutely beautiful today. And their romance was so so endearing. The CVs have done an amazing job in their transition from friends to much more. This is just the start & they are building it up absolutely well❤️

More below for the rest of the family. THEY NEED TO BE DISCUSSED AS WELL.

OK so yesterday's episode was not just special for ShraMan but also for the dynamics we saw between both families as well as the beautiful way in which the CVs gave each character screen space in such subtle ways.

First of course, Vandy, whose screen space was not at all subtle😆

CAN I JUST SAY THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER? I admit in the intial days of the show, I hated the way she spoke & acted because I've seen her act normally before. But hats off to her & the team for actually making me love her the way she is. More than horrible, I now see her acting & her voice as CAHUUTE. She may be a bimbo, but I love how clean-hearted & sweet she is. She doesn't hide anything in her heart & says whatever that is in her heart.❤️

I just love how she took forever to get ready & the Malhotra family was like iska roz roz ka chakkar hai😆 HOW REAL IS THAT? LIKE I AM ALWAYS THE FIRST TO GET READY IN MY FAMILY & EVERYONE ELSE JUST TAKES FOREVER BECAUSE THEY ARE DOING MAKE-UP & WHAT NOT.

AND HER REACTION ON THE NIMONA SABZI. AHH I LOVE YOU VANDY SO MUCH. The childlike innocence with which she exclaimed on how delicious it was.. and even exposed Chachi. Like AWWW. And again the way she just walked out, out of embarrassment as Lalaji started cracking gas jokes. And nobody minded that because they know how beautiful she is at heart.

VARUN IS SO SO LUCKY TO GET A WIFE LIKE HER, because she always supports him & is happy in his smallest joys. I wish he would appreciate her more.

Pushkar/Preeti - Let me admit, I was never pro PeeKar, but after yesterday's episode, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them together. Like they would actually be cute. The shy, sharmila couple who slowly discovers each other

Pretty much the anti-thesis of ShraMan who know each other too well.😆

BTW was Pushkar getting ready & checking his hair again & again for Preeti?😉

Also, I've grown to like Preeti over time. Again she may be bimboish like Vandy, but she is sweet. And Pushkar totally deserves someone sweet because he is so sorted, mature & understanding himself. Btw Shravan totally supports this ship.. that HMMM as he looked on at PeeKar said it all.

Varun - He was angry & upset upon being forced to go the Tiwaris'. But I love how he simply unwinded & let loose slowly. Like it was so natural & real, from eating the food, to settling down as Shravan jumped to the khatiya with him. He may be angry, but he loves his brother & seeing Shravan he smiled. AND MY FAVOURITE VARUN MOMENT SO FAR - The way he quickly stood up to declare that they were playing his favourite game. AWWW and he looked rather amused when Vandy was chosen.. HAHA😆

He may have that sada hua shakal, but come on that doesn't mean he doesn't love his family. And that reflected today.

Chachi - YES. SHE IS A KAMEENI. And was passing her usual remarks as well. BUT CAN I SAY THAT I LOVE HOW THE CAMERA SHOWED HER LAUGH AS WELL WHEN SUMAN CALLED SHRAVAN A BHUKKAD. AND ALSO THE WAY SHE SMILED WHEN VARUN WAS EXCITED ABOUT PLAYING THE GAME. Yes, she loves them differently, but she does love & care for Shravan. She has no problem with Suman either. She starts to get mean only when a potential problem is created for her blood sons by either Shravan or Suman. And that somewhere also stems for her protective, maternal instinct for her kids. Is she selfish & a bitch? HELL YES, but she is only human.

Ramnath - So amidst all this happy atmosphere.. I felt like Ramnath was a little shady especially when Nanu was thanking him regarding the case. He calls Tiwari ji a guru, but wasn't he the one who differentiated between his family & the Tiwaris by asking Shravan to drop the case? Then why was he acting like your family, my family..we are all the same. Clearly there is so much more to what meets the eye for this man.

Also, did anyone notice again how Shravan was in the terrace waiting for Suman while the family played that game? He's always omitted out of family scenes (like the carrom scene, Varun's consignment celebration) & with Suman instead. And again, they were perfectly happy & he wasn't missed at all. AHH the subtle ways in which they hint time & time again that Suman is more family to Shravan than anyone else.❤️

Woah that was some detailed review ...

I really enjoyed reading what you have to say about last nights epi ... I was so good like always and these guys don't disappoint. Never and I hope they will go the same way till long or till EDKV lasts.

what I love about shraman is that they believe in talking out about issues then just running away..they complicate it for themselves and will do the needful also.

How adorable were they and the looks they give one another... someone get them a room... The family is there and that does not matter.

It is all so peaceful for now like way to much for a serial world .. cannot wait to see what we have in store.

Loved your post... especially where you talk about shraman. Preekar... skeptical. But will wait for the cvs to develop their characters before jumping the gun.

Chachi is the main antagonist followed by mami and masi. Waiting for ramnaths true colors to come out. This actor plays grey shaded characters more. .. so waiting for the cvs plot to open up.

hahahah Sam, glad you are back after your initial reaction post the episode 😆 great take !!

A total Rajshri feel to the episode, how beautifully it is done, without any hustle bustle of lavish parties . The food cooked and served out of reverence, respect, love and regards for your friends/family, very authentic way of portraying celebrations !👏

There were nothing negative today, the vibe and the ambiance was pleasant, lovely, warmth, affection, laughter, heartfelt. It's rare where we see such episodes on tv and can be cherished . The best part of this show is almost all characters are well justified , they are flawed, no one is outright mahaan and no one is outright evil. their reactions depend on the situations and how these situations are affecting their loved ones.. case in point, Chachi's reaction yday, maami's regarding the house are all justified !!

Preeti Pushkar, I don't mind them and does Pushkar like preeti ?? there was just a glimpse of them on holi. and today Pushkar Preeti has Shravan ka aashirwaad as well 😆 Varun when starting from Malhotra house said he is having negative vibes.. but the vibes in Tiwari house changed his negative vibes. he loosened up and was excited to play pictionary , Tiwari house has vibes of affection, warmth, positivity, love , apnapan .. no wonder for Shravan Tiwari family is his family and he feels home here !!

Ramnath I still there is some back story, but again he will be justified !!

ShraMan scenes were beautiful in every sense, the execution is delicate, smooth, subtle, breeezy... not many words, lot of expressions and code language !! Suman is all shravanfied today, he confused her, he intimidated her, he enchanted her, he teased her, he demanded her attention, he acknowledged her presence ,and her heart just followed him, be it with his fav sabzi or his fav dress !!

Wat a detailed review. I loved the episode very much even my mom enjoyed it especially the first part 😆 the ladoo scenes..

like u said even i disliked Vandy at first I thought she couldn't act. bt now-a-days i'm liking her a lot.. Like she was genuinely thanked sumo wen she helped Varun. She is nt fake. She is innocent and a sweet heart.. :)

I just hope Varun appreciates her ..

Pushkar and Preeti like ssly I just loved their scene.. like firts i thought preeti is nt nyc bt nw m liking her. They would make a cute couple :)

Shraman yaar their scene was just lovely ❤️ the signals the ladoo scenes sumo's excitement to meet Shravan, Shravan's naughtiness was just superb :)

Preekar sitting beside each other during the game,

Shravan's expressions during ladoo scene, reminding her of their meeting like, "Mujhe kuch nahi pata! You handle this people. That headshake- I am not listening to anything. You HAVE TO meet me upar. "

And how he was walking bahar aaramse, but hurried up when he saw Varun reaching for the khaat and flopped down on it himself. Aur Varun ko mila takiya. Yaha pe bhi bromance.
Aur Pushkar with his arm around Varun!

And the way Mami kaam lagaoing Daboo to spread the chattai.

And Sumo texting Him in the kitchen, that setting, platform pe aloo-kaanda basket and patla, puri banake wahi rakha hoga...

And in that game scene, how adjust karne ke liye , chair, sofa, khaat, everything...

I don't know, I keep finding these small things and aisa lagta hai ki I am myself at their home.. like haan, unhone attic mein se occasion ke liye extra patla aur chattai utaari hogi..
And those mangoes in soaked in that container..I felt like going to them and saying, are waah aunty, abhi se choosene wale aam kaha se laaye? Hum bhi badaami aa ko gholkar hi khaate hai!

Like, this show is not a show, I am peeping into the Malhotra wale gharme and Tiwari logo ke gharme and observing, haan, inke ghar mein aise hota hai, and compare hum toh ise aise karte hai and find loads of similarities!!!

I love everything about it!!
