Okay, I know probably nobody here knows me and everybody here thinks I'm an idiot...which is probably true 😆 So anyway, I used to like literally live here a few years back and tonight, I couldn't stop myself. Hope it brings a smile to your face. Well, so here goes nothing..

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* Shravan frowned at the irritating noise that disturbed his sleep. He glanced at the clock. 1:13 AM. He got up with a start. Who could it be? What had happened? Was everyone okay?
"Kya hua? Kon hai? Bas ek second, aaya!" he replied with urgency as he ran to the door.
Shravan Malhotra opened the door to a sight of a scared, heaving, frowning Suman Tiwari. WHAT?!
A cry of surprise escaped his mouth, "SUMO?! What the-"
"Shhh!!!!" Suman placed a hand on Shravan's mouth and pushed herself inside, shutting the door with a kick.
Still pushing him with one hand on his mouth, the other on his left arm, right below the shoulder, she said, "Pagal ho gaye ho?! Tumhaare kehne par iss baar to knock bhi kiya! Ab kyun chilla rahe ho? Koi aa jaayega toh!? Itni mehnat se main chhupke aayi hoon-" She looked back in fear to check if the door is closed and then returned to face Shravan, all the while continuing with her ranting.
*A few hours ago*
Shravan checked his watch. 11.24 PM. He shook his head in disappointment and tried to ignore the hurt his heart felt. She didn't come.
"Arre Suman beta, vo tash lekar aao na."
"Arre Suman, upar kahaan jaa rahi ho, mere liye ek paani ka glass please!"
"Suman didi, kahaan jaa rahi ho, vo sab chhodo ab aapki baari!"
Uneasy at the thought of a waiting Shravan, Suman glanced in the direction of the stairs to find a disappointed Shravan making his way down. The moment their eyes met, she knew pacifying him would not be easy. She had to make serious amends.
"Arre Shravan beta, bas tumhara hi intezaar kar rahe the hum, ab tum aa gaye ho to chalo, chalte hain. Bohot raat ho gayi hai. Tiwari ji, hume bohot hi maza aaya, ab agya dijiye" Shravan's father said, and exchanging pleasantries, they left. Shravan bid goodbye to everyone but her. Maine kosish ki thi Shravan, sacchi! Kaise samjhau tumhe?!
Shravan had royally ignored all her calls and texts after that, including the ones that said,
"Shravan reply karo varna main vahaan aa jaungi" at 12:30 AM
"Shravan, trust me, main Sumo hoon, sach mein aa jaungi!" at 12:45 AM
and "Neeche aao ABHI!!" at 1:00 AM.
And so, here she was, the daredevil Sumo at 1:20 AM in the night...(or morning?) in the bedroom of Shravan Malhotra, holding him against the wall with her face frightfully close to his.
To say Shravan was surprised would be an understatement. Thanks to all the texts he never read and his just woken up from sleep mode, he was still trying to catch up to things. Sumo's face being inches away from his was not helping. At all. He was mesmerized by the way her eyes changed - big at times, at times so small. He was tangled in those strands of hair that were grazing her cheek. He was tracing the outline of her lips that were moving...moving! She's talking! IDIOT Shravan FOCUS! he chided himself as he concentrated on her words.
"Aur phir jab maine koshish ki to mami ne paani maang lia, nanu ki davai deni thi, preeti ne khelneko rok liya, maine sachhi koshish ki thi aaneki Shravan par mujhe pata hai tum nahi maanoge isliye ajj na main prove karke rahungi ke mujhe fees deni hai main aise hi nahi bakwas kar rahi thi main dil se aana chahti thi, ye lo!"
And with that, before Shravan could say a word or react in any whatsoever manner, Suman put her hands on his shoulder, propped herself up on her toes and slammed her lips on his.
