You guys must be wondering why I could not just have given an English title... Well... I had French as a second language in school. And often I find myself emoting in French. It is a beautiful language. And many a times when I'm overwhelmed about something I write in French.
Ok so I have exams going on and could not post much for the past few days... But!!!
After yesterday's episode I just had to make this post.
Shravan Malhotra!
This man.
Moving mountains would be a weak metaphor to emphasise Shravan's love.
His love for her literally makes me tear up. He loves her simply, unflinchingly, unconditionally. He does not even expect gratitude in return. His only reward is her smile. Her happiness. I cannot relate right now how moved I was yesterday.
Seeing his dilemma. The tempest raging in his eyes. He couldn't escape it when he was 16 and he cannot escape it now. He is still the 16 year old Shravan who could not stand one thing.
And that was tears in Sumo's eyes. Whether she cried on tripping from her bicycle or from reminiscing her mother's memories.
No pride. No ego. No conditions. No selfish motives.
Just love.
How can someone love so unchangingly? I mean he was away from her for 10 freaking years! And there is nothing that time can't change. Nothing but Shravan Malhotra's love
He tried to don a mask. He tried to be angry with her. Tried to hurt her. Humiliate her. Avenge his hurt. But in vain. Nothing alleviated him from the pain. None of it gave him peace. Nothing except her happiness.
And the reason to her happiness? Him.
Which is why he did not look behind when he was 16. When he was leaving for London and Sumo was running after him. Because he knew had he looked back, he would not have brought himself to leave. Because he wanted to be with her. With her is where he belongs. Then. And now.
Yesterday also showed how Shravan Malhotra loves. He loves fiercely. Passionately.
Yesterday showed what it was like to have Shravan Malhotra's love. His loyalty. His concern. He is a MAN who would not leave your side in the darkest of times. In the roughest of weathers. And against the strongest of winds.
That my dear friends is Shravan Malhotra.
I would just like to end this rant with a beautiful piece of prose I read somewhere. And it goes like this:
"She is the prettiest hell I've ever been in. And I didn't mind burning at all."
Love,
Arya.
P.S.: we've seen and gauged Shravan's love. Now I'm dying to watch Sumo's.
P.P.S: Proper French intonations like cliche are not available on India forums. So excuse me all you French grammer Nazis out there. 😆
